XBL profile question

My brother decided he was going to sell his 360 to a friend, when he told me about this, I told him he had to wipe the HD, as my credit info and my dads was store in it. His friend wanted the DLC games that were already on it though. So I had my brother just delete the profiles on the HD, will this remove the credit info?

I think you'd have to delete your profile from the xbox website as well.

Or you could just delete the CC info from the profile on the site. That way if he ever gets another he will still have everything.
