Halo Waypoint and Splosion Man both have awards. Those are the only ones I've found so far.

As far as Xbox 360 avatar awards are, I have no clue. Except I've seen people have the Monitor as a item, except I do not think you can buy it the MS store

OT: What are avatar awards? Are they some kind of award that gives you items for your avatar?

Left 4 dead 2 has 5 avatar awards: 2 l4d2 shirts, 2 shirts that a couple of the survivors wear and a health kit prop (you don't wear it, just wave it around then set it on the ground). Also Splosion man has a couple, I think a shirt and a skirt. All I know of as far as free in game unlockable awards.

EDIT: Also, NXE I believe stands for NEW XBOX EXPERIENCE (they restructured the out of game menus and so fourth, plus introduced the avatars).

I wish they had some cool ones for MW2 like being able to hold an M16 or hell the little computer you use to call in predator missiles with.

Certain games have them, liek I know Splosion Man has some, Left 4 Dead 2 has some, and Halo Waypoint has some. That's all I know of so far.

They make you pay for those instead... the predator is available for PURCHASE on the marketplace, and they've already said they are not going to allow any kind of weaponry for the avatar, so no M16.

the only ones i know of as of now are Left 4 dead 2 and Halo waypoint.

Awards were a feature that came while most games were in development, so most devs didn't make them into the game. Splosion Man has cake, I think. L4D2 has some. I hope more will come soon!

Ok for the record the Halo Waypoint gives you that floating cube thingie. There is more that you unlock through ODST. And L4D2 ones are awesome. I am sporting the zombie hand shirt (although I do like the Bull shirt as well). And they are pretty reasonable to get.

And the free unlockables so far are a joke, I'd like to see this catch on, but if MS keeps focusing on the paid ones then it's no wonder there won't be much enthusiasm for the free ones.
