XBOX LIVE. To buy or not. I really want to buy it, but is it worth paying for it?

Do you like having multi-player matches against people all over the world and can tolerate some very extreme behavior? Can you afford it without having to sacrifice an essential in your life? If you answered yes to both of those questions, then maybe. I wouldn't know. Ask someone who owns an Xbox 360.

I'm subbed up till somewhen in 2014. If you have friends on the xbox, or enjoy multiplayer online gaming, then yeah get it. Hasn't done me wrong.

Course, if your so poor that you can't afford 40 quid a year, maybe you should take up a different hobby. If you can afford it, enjoy!

It's worth paying for if you have friends to play with online. If you don't have friends to play with, then xbox live is pretty much the most rage-inducing thing in the world, and if you want to keep your sanity you'll keep away from it until you can make jokes about all the bullshit that's going on in the game you're playing.

If you have friends who already have Xbox live and play online frequently, go right ahead. If not, then maybe give it a miss as I find a lot of the fun of playing online is playing with friends, although that's my personal opinion, & yours could be different.

If you are really unsure, try getting one of the shorter/cheaper subscriptions, if you don't like it, & don't think its worth the money, don't resubscribe. If you enjoy it, then maybe look at getting a longer subscription.

Based on principle, I don't own subscriptions to any service I won't use on a very frequent basis. That's why I refuse to play subscription based MMOs or buy Xbox LIVE Gold/PSN Plus or whatever they're calling that thing nowadays.

So, buy it if you're going to be on it all the time, don't if you're not.
