Well, not those exact ones, but yeah, I see the Xx[Name]xX thing quite a bit.
It's probably the result of systems that only allow one of each name. Someone wants to be called SolidSnake, but it's already taken, so they have to get inventive, and since everybody knows Xs are cool...
Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure we have a XxJuliaxX or something on these very forums.

Those fictional characters used as tags? A few times. Those 'x's on the sides? More fucking times then I could ever hope to count.
XxxMyGaMeRtAgIsAmAzInGbEcAuSeItSsOhArDtOrEaDxxX is a very popular choice for some reason. Throw in some numbers and your hardcore.

No, I never see those names. Those choices of names would suggest the user has at least some taste.
