So I've been following Zero Punctuation for a while now, and I have noticed a lot of subtle hints, (as well as not so subtle ones) to what Yahtzee would like to see in his "game": "Mankind is yet to recognise my genius"

So I am going to take the liberty to pitch a few ideas, both his, and ones I think would be very fitting; to birth the creation this game.

Also feel free to add anything you think would work in the comment section:

The setting would take place in a sandbox city similar to Saints Row 2, or Prototype. Your main character would be The Riddler, your main weapon would be a freeze ray, or a gun that shoots Shurikens and lightning. You would have a jet pack as well, so you can roam around the landscape; Dark Void style

You would also equip a portal device, and throughout the game; complete portal based puzzles in order to collect parts that can be used to construct a brightly coloured doomsday machine that resembles a top hat. (Or a Fedora)

The main enemies would be:
~Batman
~The entire cast of Too Human, Dead Space, and Kane and Lynch
~Sonic the Hedgehog
~The Mario Brothers
~Square Enix

The big boss at the end would be Duke Nukem, and if you are playing on expert, it would be Chuck Norris.

Also throughout the game, a support character named Captain Dynamite who has nukes instead of legs, the face of Frank Zappa, and voiced by Liam Neason; would roam around in a spaceship throughout the entire game, sprinkling down rose petals and friendship.

Anybody else want to add something? :D

Sounds about right. But to be honest, it is a brilliant idea for a game. A free-roaming one where you play the villain against the heroes? How has that not been done yet?

You'd also have to have missions where you had no weapons and have to stealth everywhere, and find some way to cram some horror into there too (proper horror, not just making you jump). You'd also have to include killing a god with swords on chains.

But then he'd complain about it trying to be too many things at once. I don't think Yahtzee could be sayisfied with just one game. He's just picky.

Or he genuinely dislikes games.

How about a game where you carpet bomb australia with nuclear weapons? And fight australians mounted on dingos, using swords powered using fire and lightning.

I'm not sure if you're being facetious, but that honestly sounds like the other half of most sandbox games today. Red Dead, InFamous, Prototype, Fallout 3/New Vegas. . .

Fixed that for you, a Fedora is actually different, as shown here:

Other than that, good job!

How clever... you were able to watch a series of videos then string together 10 positive things and claim points for creativity.

The phrase 'light-hearted fan banter' obviously means nothing as we're graced by the presence of the elusive Buzz Kill.

He may not be creative, but you're still pretentious. Now return to the dark corner, drink some more coffee, leave us to our non-creative devices and stop deriding the simple comments of others in an effort to alleviate your feelings of constant inferiority.

Unpleasantness aside, I imagine such a game has already emulated enough in gameplay where such actions are inappropriate, that there must be some market research out there or something that states such a game would dismantle the world's economies for it not to exist already.

the big companies believe games should be "family friendly"
aka: kill as many walking blood bags as you want, as long as you are the "good guy." or you can be a bad guy, but only if you kill "badder" guys.

there needs to be first person melee scenes like in Condemned 2 and stealth-killing options and a horror part with a monster you have to run away from.

Not really

'a synonym for a short-brimmed fedora in the United Kingdom'

That's a quote from the first line of the trilby wikipedia article.

Pedanticness begats pedanticness.

You fools should have realized the first time Yahtzee disliked a game for its story that his perfect game is ACTUALLY A BOOK. Not that there's anything wrong with books its just that the quick talking side of Yahtzee hates games for the WRONG REASONS.

Combine Prince of Persia with Shadow of the Colossus with Amnesia: Dark Decent with the open world of Saints Row 2 with Thief 2 (I think was his favorite? I know he didnt like the whole series, but liked one in particular).

Thats Yahtzee's dream game.
