You can choose between two things...

Between these two totally random things, which would you choose?

You either have the ability to know where anything you lost is immediately, or you can choose to meet your soulmate tomorrow. Unfortunately, there is a catch to both of them. You can only know where the thing you lost is once you start looking, which means if you threw it out you'll know it's in the dump and won't be able to do anything about it. If you choose meeting your soulmate, it doesn't mean you'll meet and immediately fall in love. He/she could just be ringing up your groceries or saying "Hi" in the elevator. No guarantees.

So, fellow Escapists, which would you choose? (Also saying both means you get nothing)

This, 'cause I rarely misplace anything. Even if I may only meet the person through an interaction such as the above, I'd say it's far more beneficial than finding something I've lost. Then all that's left is to swoosh them off their feet! Swoosh? You use this word?

Number two would be a really fun day. I'd be constantly getting excited every time I spoke to a pretty girl. If, on that day, I spoke only to guys, I may panic slightly... still, number two please

Number 2, then I'd be guaranteed to have a soul-mate in the future I never really lose things so that ability wouldn't be that helpful.

This seems a very unbalanced game. I could meet my soul mate any day, probably already have.... unless option number 2 comes with a giant neon arrow hovering above his/her head saying "THIS IS THE ONE" then it's a pretty useless ability.

I'll choose number 1, please. I lose stuff every damn day.

probably the latter, I like it when I find something I had been looking for a couple of weeks ago that I couldn't find then and given up and just stumbling into it.

Oh... Damnit!!! I have so much lost stuff that I need to find, (passports, Nexus Cards, Pokemon Gold, my wallet, etc.)

I'll take soul mate. You can still FIND lost things, normally. Knowing that I'll meet my apparent soul mate at some point, guaranteed, is a stronger motivation.

Meh, ill meet my soul mate eventually but finding lost keys or your lost car would be nicer. Does it still count if the car was stolen? Would make a great PI if you could. Put up an ad "Lost Cat? Lost Credit Card? Lost Car? Then hire PI Joe! at 866-Car-Lost."

Number 1!!! Honestly I suspect there are many potential "soul mates" for everyone anyway, but I admittedly don't have much experience with that. But I definitely would benefit from finding all the stupid crap I lose all the time

Wait! I know what to do. I take number one*, because then I have the ability to know that I "lost" my soul mate when I start looking for them and pass them by. Then I just have to go find them.

*Side note, you can still go down to the dump and get something back. I know I did once with a friend.
