There is a theory that the Aether Foundation are evil or at least have some sinister undertones, thoughts do you agree or disagree
I doubt it will have the effect you want. It's the internet and Rule 34 still holds true...Ryallen said:Not saying that Team Skull are the good guys. But I do think that it would be hilarious if the Aether Foundation was evil. If only to screw with people who started crushing on Wicke and drawing so much fanart of her because she's "thicc" as the kids say.
Eh, there should be some sub-plot with a little conflict, at least. Just taking on the gyms and other trainers is too straightforward.Saelune said:They should stop with the "villainous" teams. They are stupid. The only ones that were good were the ones in Black and White cause...they werent evil criminals, so when they dont shoot you for interfering, it makes sense, cause they were just extreme activists. Yet in X and Y they just let you march in and take the Legendary Pokemon from them.
(Sure Ghetsis tried to take over the world, but that was at the end...and was also dumb)
Im not saying dont have plot. Like I said, I liked B&W cause the antagonist, sans Ghetsis arent evil criminals, and N is a great character too. If you removed Ghetsis, the plot would have been completely fine. Maybe Aqua and Magma get a pass too cause they were more fanatics, but not necessarily murderous and wanted to just harness the power of Legendary Pokemon.Silvanus said:Eh, there should be some sub-plot with a little conflict, at least. I don't think it will stop. I just think it'll mess with them a little bit.Diablo2000 said:I doubt it will have the effect you want. And arguably Cyrus.totheendofsin said:I think they are the main antagonistic force in the game, but I don't think they are 'evil' more likely they're going to end up being a "knight templar" style antagonist, going too far in what they see as the greater good, similar to N from 5th gen and to an extent Lysandre (I do know if I spelled that right) from 6th gen
Just because it wants to be kid friendly, doesnt mean it needs to be stupid. Just make it more believable. I dont think you need such outlandish antagonists to have a plot either.Kibeth41 said:I don't think they're evil. I think they'll pull a Tony Stark and create the Ultra Beasts as a botched attempt at trying to create something to improve the quality of life for people and Pokemon.
They're not exactly going to restrain a kid whose Machamp just singlehandedly beat up around 30 other Pokemon..Saelune said:They should stop with the "villainous" teams. They are stupid. And its a kids game. they understandably avoid any mention of guns.
Sure, they could remove all villains on the basis that "they'd just shoot you", but there wouldn't be any kind of light plot there.
