Well my alias is Jester. I adopted this name after i did a history project on them. As i did more and more research on Jesters, i began to appreciated them more and more. Ye olde jesters were the ones to stand up the kings, they were intelligent as they had to be to avoid a removal of their head. Also the stereotype of a jester, annoying to some and funny to most, a performer, It just seemed to fit. Since then it been my alias and im very proud of it.

So how did you get your alias?

Well I got my screen name through a comment made by a friend. But I spelled it wrong and I just liked it that way, mostly for the irony of spelling Infinitewit incorrectly, while professing one's own infinite wit.

As for the false name I use in real life. Matt Rankin. Rankin is a sept of my clan and middle name, and I've been called Matt by people accidentally countless times over the years. Apparently I look like a Matt.

Well my alias was created when I thought, "What sounds like a stereotypical action star, but still awesome?" Ace is cool, and Michael Jackson was awesome back in the day, so I thought of Ace Jackson. Or, my foster parents were killed by deadly flying aces of spades thrown by a league of assassins in cahoots with a resurrected zombie fusion of Hitler and Stalin , and the brand of the cards were Jackson, so Ace Jackson was born. Whichever one's cooler.

Stormcaller, go listen to "Power of the Horde" by LVL80ETC, for those of you who still don't get it it comes from the lines "STORM! black clouds fill the sky!" and "Thunder beckons and I heed the call"

I saw a pigeon flying towards a poster with Mount Doom on it, Nazgul style. Made me think how cool an acopolyptical pigeon would be, no doubt destroying nations with pestilence. It seemed like a cool tag then. I've been unable to think of anything else better since.

Since I'm from the UK, my first name is considered very unusual (my surname too, come to think of it...). Basically, my real name is Trivun, since I was named after my paternal grandfather who was Serbian. My dad was born here but to Serbian parents, while my mom's maiden name is Smith, so about as British as you can get :). Anyway, since I'm likely the only Trivun in the UK (my grandfather died years before I was born), people are usually very intrigued by my name, and nobody on the internet will suspect that it's my real name (people have actually asked me in the past if I'm a fan of the band Trivium, which I'm not. They think that's where my username comes from.). It's somewhat ironic then that the only place I use it are here and Deviant Art, since they're the only sites I'm a member of, and they both have my full real name posted on my profiles :s. Still, better than my Youtube username, 'Crispymongoose'...

Hunde Des Krieg, Dogs Of War. Thought it was Dog of War but whatever...
Heard it on The Postman, and translated it to German, cuz it sounds cool and Dog of war was taken on Live.

My childhood was a funny time

me and my step-brother would play with legos all the time

and one of the things that we did was we got a giant box of the tiny blocks... and spent an entire afternoon creating little Lego soldiers in an elite combat force

we called them the Toughies. And the leader of the Toughies... as well as the only one that I would ever play with. One

SARGENT TOUGHIE. That's how I always spelled it when I was little, and when my step brother told me that it was wrong I told him that I liked my way better.

and so SARGENT TOUGHIE was born.

Tess LaCoil was a name born in the fiery furnaces of Pun. The Nuke Lassic lifted his pen and smote the word upon his mighty anvil. Thus, LaCoil was born. Attaching it to me was no easy feat for I'm not such a fan of red hot metal being near my skin. There's enough flowing in it already. None the less, Nuke affixed me with said name, and it's remained since.

Dread_Reaper (or "Dread" for short)

Its a type of berserker undead warrior from the book "Reaper Clan", and the name has always sort of stuck with me (if you knew me and had read the book, you'd see why).

Somewhere along the way I got the title "Destroyer of Worlds" tacked onto my name, although THAT I have no idea how it came about. I thought it was an accolade jokingly bestowed for beating folks senseless with logic on forums, but then some bloke who I had never met before called me that out of the blue, so perhaps my persona is just synonymous with some kind of ravenous malefactor that desolates planets...

Khedive Rex was born on my first foray into the internet. I was joining a puzzle sight called PerplexCity and I wanted a name that would be inherently confusing but would actually mean something if you took long enough to decypher it. In essence, I wanted my name to be a puzzle.

I took one of my middle names, Khedive, and added Rex to the end. Depending on the translation, khedive means either prince, king or governor in Arabic. Rex is Latin for king. So Khedive Rex means "The King of Princes" Which I thought was a clever way of saying "A noob with a lot of potential."

So, my alias is somewhat self-descriptive but only if you're familiar with both Arabic and Latin. I figured that qualified as a puzzle. It's stuck ever since.

I also like that, because of the three different ways of translating khedive, my name remains relevant even if I'm no longer a noob. If I have a lot of noteriety I can claim to be "The King of Kings". If I'm experienced on a site but not well recognized I can call myself "The King of Governors". Either way my name is in-depth, confusing and (I think) kind of catchy. It was the first name I thought up but, it's stuck.
