Your Blood Type

I am curious as to how many escapists know their blood type and what that is. I recently found out I am an A+ so if there are any O+ or other A+ it would be good to know when I need someone to hunt down for a kidney, liver, ex...

I'm O Neg. I found out about the O in 8th grade, when we tested our own blood in science class, and the Neg when I gave blood for the first time, back in 1998. I thought I was O Positive for the longest time, simply because there are more O Pos than O Neg. Universal donor for the win.

Not sure about the letter or mathematical value, but I do know it is closer to 7 on the pH scale than blood should be.

The nurses groan unhappily when an AB+ donates, and groan harder when an O- needs blood.

I don't know what I am, I've never been tested. :S

AB blood types are the rarest (even more so than O) and are universal blood plasmid donors.


EDIT: Yes, we are universal receivers because there are no antigen against other blood cells (though your - or + Rh determines what blood is safe) Since I'm - I can only receive positive A, B,O, AB

Another EDIT: Only AB+ is a universal plasma donator
AB- (my type) is the rarest blood type in the human race currently, and O- is the second rarest.

I guess I meant rarest as in blood types you expect to find in a group of 100 people. If that makes sense.

I'm blood type A, sadly I don't know whether it is + or -.

This kinda reminds me of this online quiz that tells you your personality based on your blood type. It said that those with type A are serious-minded people, but I think its range of possibilities is pretty narrow (there's only 4 blood types) compared to other personality tests.
