The first one I ever got? I'm assuming that's what you want...

Old school, bad ass, Special edition Pikachu Yellow Gameboy. I love it truly.

Hmm, my first was the NES that my Dad bought for my Mom in 1993. Or at least 1993 was when I started playing.

SEGA Genesis was just terrific. And when I first beat the drill eggmobile in Emerald Hill in Sonic2? EPIC.
And yes, I was about four.

No consoles, but I did have a C64 and an Amiga 1200.

Still have that Amiga, actually, but it has no hard drive since the first one went kaput.

Why wouldn't the PC count? I've never understood how the PC isn't classed as a valid gaming platform... I find that attitude rather elitist, which is ironic considering PC gamers are known for being elitists.

On Topic: The 1st games I played were on the Master System. Alex Kidd in Miracle World, and Sonic the Hedgehog 8 bit edition. 2 hard as hell games, but so fun.

I eventually got my own console one magical Christmas, the Mega Drive. On this I enjoyed so many great games over the years, the Sonic series, Ristar, Dynamite Headdy, Judge Dredd, Streets of Rage 2, Columns, Soleil, man I loved that thing.

Eventually as the years went on, the 3D age started, and I got a Playstation. I still remember to this day how awesome it felt playing Crash Bandicoot 2 for the 1st time. Nothing will ever beat that experience. I also played my 1st JRPG on that console, Final Fantasy VIII. Maybe it's nostalgia blinding me, but it's still my favourite of the series to this day.

I wasn't acting "elitist" I was clarifying for those who might be confused when I used the word Console.

A yellow Game Boy Color and a copy of Pokemon Red. I still own both, and they still work.

(Sniff) Good times.

N64? Same here. Got it when I was 5 and fell in love with Mickey's Speedway USA. Good times from a good era.

Sega Megadrive. Oh how I loved killing caricature animal robots at super speed; smashing bottles in the face of whip wielding hookers; using explosive arrows on an Apache and being haunted by the deeps of Ecco the Dolphin.

The Super Nintendo and, later, the N64.

We only had the SNES for a few years, though, while the N64 was pretty much what eventually turned me into a gamer.

A PC that couldn't run any decent games, followed by one that could, followed by a PS1.
Then my mum's boyfriend gave me a PS2 and an Xbox. [small]he was a complete douche though[/small]
