We all have them. You know, that one characteristic that makes you stand out, be it evident or not. Maybe you obsess over grammar and it's evident every time you talk to someone. Or perhaps it could be...well, I don't know.

I'd say my own is actually a collective characteristic defined by my own selfishness, stubbornness, and just general jerkishness. Although, I suppose you could just shorten that to general jerkishness. :p

Come on, everyone, we've all got some, so what's yours?

I am a very relaxed person it take a lot to get me stressed. Since I am so relaxed people tend to get upset at me cause they feel like I don't take them seriously when they are frustrated.

I'm usually very sarcastic and surly. Neither are very endearing especially when combined.

Yeah, that's definitely something that seems to set you apart from everyone else (in my mind). You have no idea how much I want to correct, say "your" to "you're". :3

Depending on which group of friends I'm either the massive troll or the guy that knows everything.
Either way they view me positively though :D

Sarcasm. Unrelenting, terrible sarcasm. I also have a decently sized vocabulary, which I employ daily. I'm also an optimistic individual.

Not sure what parts of my personality are definitively me, but visually my hat/vest/tie/boots combo has become something of a symbol for me. Some call it my uniform. Also my blue eyes, my freckles and my curly hair.

I draw alot...

It pretty much ends up defining me, I do it everywhere, and it's the first thing people ask me about.

Even if I'd rather they didn't. If I'm out in public drawing it's usually because I've been forced. Don't make it even more of a hassle for me if you don't really care about the person doing the drawing.

Then again I'd never have met by best friend if she hadn't relentlessly harassed me while I was drawing so... I guess the trick with me is keep trying til you earn my loyalty.
But once you have it you better treat it like something damned special because once you break it you aren't having it back without an even steeper climb... with spikes. And land mines.

I'm a very loyal friend once you've proven to me that you deserve it, but it's also the reason I only have a handful of friends. Most of which do not live close to me any longer.

But yeah, superficially it's that I draw.
Deeper: I'm very attached to those I love.

I don't like to break myself into just one characteristic, but among everybody I know, I'm either the sarcastic, cynical, mean one, or the one who just knows everything. Seriously, I've had phone calls just to ask the definitions or etymologies of words, or who did something when. It's especially annoying when I don't actually know the answer and they act all disappointed.

My incredibly dry sense of humour, sharp conversational wit and knowledge of obscurities. Everyone asks me the things they don't know, be it an event or person from history or if they just need their spellings checked.

Everyone that doesn't know me would probably see me as deadly serious, quiet or as having no sense of humour. When I was in school if I didn't know someone then I didn't usually want to know them, and as such all they ever saw was someone who didn't even acknowledge their existence, let alone speak to them.

Those who do know me know me for my humour and for how laid back I am. I've only ever seen the end of my patience once, and once was enough for the poor sod that ended it.

Or lack-there-of.

OT:

Been told I have a charming personality. I always know what to say, y'know. In other words, high speech skill.

I'm not sure if I have any such defining characteristic... But I've got this mindset of "Never throw anything out, not even if it's broken. I might get use for it someday". I also love building things, and I can fix stuff that's broken.
Another defining thing might be that I prefer to do things in solitude, and I love working on things where I can sit alone and focus on it for hours. I do not like group projects, as I cannot trust people to do the job properly.

In Romania, my accent. In Greece, my knowledge about meds and obscure stuff. Everywhere, my being an outsider.
