Why do show the four badges below your avatar? Is it because you want people to know something about you? Do you think they look cool or because you have done something on the Escapist you are proud of?
Here are mine:
Noble poster: I use this one because I want people to know that I have never gotten a warning or probation
Lukewarm: Because I am generally a good person
Bestest friend: I like to have a lot of friends
On fire: I want people to know I can start a good conversation

Arcade Escapee, this one is more of a "YOU HAVE TO PLAY THIS GAME" sort of deal, i just put it there to cause awarenes, if anyone played the game because i put my badge there, i am happy, that game is amazing and i dont want to see it die!

I occasionally shuffle the order around when I'm bored.

At the moment my Badge display recounts my enjoyment of a well-remixed game tune, the randomness of my postings, the Mog-'O-Booze because I'm an alcoholic and the Fighter because hey, sometimes "I hit it with my Axe" really is the right choice.




I'll likely never display the friends badge though, because every man is an island, we are born alone and we die alone (and I'm rude so it's hard to be friends). I doubt I'll ever display a Notable Poster-like badge because I tend to tempt Mod Wrath and the BanHammer every couple months. Because I CAN. [sub][sub]Though I was once quoted by Mr. Pitts, which was pretty awesome.[/sub][/sub] Probably never display a "Cool Topic Bro" badge I'm more of a peanut gallery guy that sits in the shadows making snarky comments rather than instigating discussion. I think I've made two threads here ever? Though I would like to think I've thrown up a few meaningful and thought-provoking posts from time to time.

Well, I got the badge for being published in the weekly letters, that's the one I'm most proud of.

The others are:

Epic poster: Dunno, I'm somehow managed to avoid mod wrath so far, so that's staying up until that changes.

Hot topic is there to pretend like I can start a good conversation, but really, the thread that earned me that was really boring. I'm a sham!

The last one is to say people think I'm cool guy who doesn't afraid of anything?
