You might be a metalhead or something else, but going to a concerts is just good, clean, maybe sweaty, fun. Now, for everybody there is a moment that is hands down the epoch of of your concert going life. I'd like to say I have One, and I do, but, it's a tie, between finally going to Ozzfest in 2006 in chicago(where I got to meet S.Y.L. & disturbed) and when Slayer came to town and I spent thier whole set in the mosh pit...and lived. So people, tell us whats your Epic Concert Moment?

I touched Jordan Pundik's face and he put his hand over mine and held it there.

It was a beautiful, sweaty, uncomfortable moment.

Enter Shikari concert in belfast was wild. It was just so awesome, the atmosphere, the crowd cheering, mosh pits, everyone dancing, sweatyiness everywhere, just awesome.

If anyone went to Middlesbrough music live a week back or so, that was awesome. I got my picture taken with nearly all the mainstage artists and caught The Hoosiers drum sticks ^_^
Then got stuck in the middle fo afight between a bunch of chavs and the police dragged me out thinkign i started it, i convinced them i didnt and got let back in!
I also got extremely wasted.

Good times...

Oh, and these guys. They were incredible. Its a shame the camera couldnt pick up the heavy bass at 0:43, it shook the stage!

I've only ever been to two concerts, Nightwish and Lights. Both were really fun, but nothing spectacular happened at either.

I went to a Blackfoot concert and got the bar guy to keep giving me free ginger ale the whole night.

See, I have twitchy hands. I don't like it when my hands aren't occupied with doing something. So I kept making the Dixie cups into flowers, and that would lead drunk idiots to come over to gawp at what I was doing--and while they were there, they'd order more booze for themselves. Because I was attracting customers, the bar guy kept giving me free drinks, and more cups to make flowers out of.

Well, it's not so epic super-awesome as surviving a mosh pit at a Slayer concert, but I thought it was neat. :D

Mine was getting on stage with Manowar at the Magic Circle Festival in Germany in 2007 in front of around 15,000 people. What a fucking rush!

And only two more days until I fly to Sofia, Bulgaria for the Sofia and Bucharest Sonisphere festivals. More epic moments are certainly ahead!

I once went to see the band Creature Feature with a friend of mine in an incredibly shitty dive of a bar called Ground Zero, which is a refurbished nuclear fallout shelter. So we're off to an awesome start. There were a bunch of opening bands, and wow, usually I ignore opening bands but this was a lineup of insane fuckers like I've never witnessed.

The first group was I think called Tub Ring, and during one of the songs the keyboardist started humping his keyboard to play it. Later, he climbed up on the keyboard and doing handstands and shit while playing.

Next was another band, can't remember their name for the life of me, but when they started playing all the lights went out and the singer started swinging this lantern (reminded me of a tonberry) and growling as the music started to pick up. After them was a group of crazy dudes with weird hair wearing nice clothes. Their music was unexpectedly awesome.

Then of course the main act came out and it was awesome. Man, what an awesome concert.

Was Lowlands 1998 (*edit it, correction in time) I guess when I went to see Therapy? I like their music, but I am not a fan. But the vibe that was over there during the concert.. hard to describe, when just one person started clapping the whole audience picked it up the whole gig trough.

I was at the Full Ponty in 2007, and it was nearing the end of the day and I went over to the Coca Cola Tent to see what The Gallows were like. It was packed, and barriers had been set up so no-one else could cram in there, so I was stuck outside. Then Frank Carter Started shoving his way through the crowd, and stood on the barrier, still screaming away.
I got a high-five. It was awesome. Fun band.

I spent Tuesday night watching Aerosmith at the O2 arena, and I was only in about the fifth row back of people from the stage.

Yeah, I got others, but that one's sticking with me.

Only one? Damn, that's real hard. I guess I'll have to go with either Does It Offend You, Yeah? at Lowlands 2008 where I entered at the back of the hall and somehow ended up front and center during the first song or Justice at I Love Techno in 2008 when they dropped Justice - Phantom Pt. II (Soulwax Remix) and the whole crowd just went completely mad.

Also, Slayer pits aren't that lethal. Most lethal one I've been in was at Enter Shikari at Lowlands in 2005 or 2006, don't remember what year. The crowd in there went bonkers. At one time there even was a human pyramid in the middle of the moshpit.
