You've traveled countless miles, seen things that others can only imagine and had more scrapes with death than you feel comfortable with.

You've experienced the exotic, you've fought with, and against, the best.

You've experienced the highest of the highs and lowest of the lows.

And now, for whatever reason, your journey is coming to a close.

As you ride your preferred mode of transport into the horizon, there is one song playing in the background, as if the gods themselves have seen it worthy to send you off...

What is that track?

Mine?

Not only is it from one of the best movies of all time, it's also a fucking brilliant track that makes me want to take on anything that the world throws at me.

This is the stuff bards play when their party is killing a god.

I like it. Gives a sense of accomplishment and finale without being too upbeat.
It's a nice track but not nearly epic enough.

Eye of the Tiger. There are a lot of songs I bring on an Epic Quest, but no matter what, I must have Eye of the Tiger.

Eye of the Tiger is montage music! Not epic quest finishing music!

I always felt it captures the feeling of a hard fought victorious journey with a hint of feeling proud yet not satisfied with the end implying further journeys to either regain something lost or to find a new ending.

p.s. this is not my video.

I'm using it for the beginning and middle, not the end. I didn't say it was the finale. But whenever I do something epic, Eye of the Tiger must be involved somehow.

If I was on boat...

Ahaha...

Now time to be serious.

Knights Of Cydonia By Muse.

It fits in perfectly I think.

I'd say that's pretty fitting for the end of a quest.

And if that doesn't satisfy you, I've got a few others.

I'm going with this.

It seems like good end of a journey music to me. If it's not then i've got nothing so it will just have to do.

After thinking for about a minute, I came to Mad World by Gary Jules (Donnie Darko, that Gears of War 1 commercial.)

Also my mode of transportation would be a 1980 Dodge Charger Daytona with a paint job similar to a Hot Wheel I have.

...the credits theme, and pretty much every Crush 40 Sonic theme, kicks ass.

And if I also had to pick what I was riding into the sunset on, it depends on the realism of this journey. If realistic, then a bike something like what Shadow is riding (with a different colour scheme).
