My favorite character, and favorite anime, are different.

My favorite anime, for ones I've completed, is Death Note. It's a bit cliche, but that series was just really interesting to me, and it was cool to see an intelligent killer match wits with an equally intelligent detective. Plus, I love series that are not morally black and white.

My favorite character, though, is Nicholas D. Wolfwood from Trigun. He is badass, that cross is awesome, and I love his character of being someone who is good, but willing to do morally ambiguous things if he deems it necessary, even if others disagree. And his character arc was believable and interesting to watch. Plus, he had one of the best quotes I've heard from an anime.

"We're nothing like God. Not only do we have limited powers, but sometimes we're driven to become the devil himself. What's your answer this time?"

Not gonna lie, I think Kakashi is way more interesting than any of the other Team 7 guys.

I got a soft spot in my black, shriveled-up heart for Code Geass, Berserk, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, and Black Lagoon.

Not sure who my faves are, I'm more of a manga guy myself. I do like the leads from all of the series I mentioned above.

Outlaw Star, the setting, the designs the style all just clicked with me. Then again I'm a sci-fi nerd so that may lead to bias.

Fair enough. My favorite characters are Vegeta and Future Trunks, whereas my favorite anime is One Piece.

That said, in the TFS parody dub of DBZ, my favorite characters are Nappa and Mr Popo. Seriously, watch it!

Lelouch from Code Geass will always be my very favourite. He's so melodramatic it's awesome, he can't simply say or do anything without striking a stupidly dramatic pose and/or using his trademarked Dramatic Arm Flails.

Plus y'know he has epic motivations, crazy plans, and being an all round interesting character.

Second favourite would be.... L? Maybe? I'm way on the Kira FTL side of the Death Note camp but second favourite of all time? He goes on the honourable mentions list I suppose.

Yuno from Future Diary gets a mention, just because how she's batshit crazy and doesn't give a damn. Don't worry Yuki! She's always be there to protect you!

I only like about...... 2 animes? If that really. My girlfriend is a huge fan of it, and she plays it whilst I sort of just live my life whilst taking note of it.

However, as she watched Death Note, I couldn't help but love Matsuda.

Especially his evolution, I liked how he was perceived as the more idiotic of the group yet come the final episode more or less finished Light off himself. (Probably more of a factor, I hated Light with a fiery passion).


Also, Archer from Fate Stay Night is pretty bad ass.

Fav Anime: Yu Yu Hakusho is my favorite, with Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood being a close second, and honestly FMA:B is probably a better anime from a critical standpoint

Fav Character: This one is tough, I'm probably forgetting a large number of better picks, but lets go with Kuwabara from Yu Yu Hakusho
