I guess it depends on what you consider childhood. I played Silent Hill and Parasite Eve at 13, and those still hold up as favorite games. I also loved Medevil, Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver and Zombies Ate my Neighbors. I can't remember any games on the NES I really loved, the system was more my dad's than mine.
