Kicking it oldschool today folks, really really oldschool. Name your favorite Prehistoric creature and why. Doesn't have to be a dinosaur could be an early mammal or anything else.

Don't everybody leap up and say velociraptor please.

I'm gonna go with Tyrannosaurus Rex. Do I need to explain why?

Muttaburasaurus.

The name just rolls off the tongue.

(That is the one with the big thumbs right?)

I like all dinosaurs really, I couldn't honestly choose one over all the others.

OP, you do have to explain why Tyrannosaurus Rex.
It's overhyped and has tiny hands.
It's smelly.
I don't like it.

T-Rex all the way. Go ahead and convince yourself that it had a tiny brain, or small arms, or that it was a scavenger and not a predator, but when it's staring you down as you cower helplessly on a toilet seat, you'll be sorry.

Iguanadons have the spike thumbs. T-rexs were forty feet long 20 feet tall, likely weighed close to ten tons, has teeth that are 7 inches long and is the quintisessential(sp?) therapod dinosaur.

Velociraptor.Read Jurrasic Park and you'll know why.
I've read Jurassic Park. Five times at least, and The Lost World six.
The raptors are inaccurate. They are more likely deinonychus.

Velociraptors man, you can't tell me otherwise!

If I can't choose Velociraptors, then I'd have to go with the one with the club for the tail. I can't remember its name at the moment though.

Ankylosaurus? There are several, but that is the more famous one.
