Greetings, fellow Escapist viewers.
In its rather great history, fighting genre has introduced us, fans, with great many characters. Some of them are amazing, some not so much, but that is not the topic.
My question is: who are they, who you love and will use no matter what, because you like their looks, fighting style, attitude, or all of the above?
Lets do it like this: write your favorite positive guy and girl, your favorite negative guy and girl and your favorite boss. You can name as many as you want, the only limiters are your memory and preferenses.
So, lets start with me:
Favorite good guys: Dudley, Dan, Necro from Street Fighter,Slayer, Sol and Potemkin from Guilty gear, Tager from Blazblue, Terry, Clark and Maxima from King of fighters and King, Jin and Paul from Tekken.
Favorite good girls: Elena and Cammy from SF, Millia and Dizzy from GG, Noel and Makoto from BB, Blue Marry, Vanessa, King and Mai from KoF.
Favorite bad guys: Hazama from BB, Iori from KoF, Bryan from Tekken.
Favorite bad girls: Juri from SF, I-no from GG, Shermie from KoF.
Favorite bosses: Rugal Berstein from KoF and M.Bison(Dictator) from SF.

P.S. I am sorry, if I made linguistic mistakes in my post. I am not a native english speaker, so my knowledge of it is probably less advanced then the one of Northern Americans and British.

Favorite males characters are . Akuma , charlie and DEEJAY from street fighter , jagi and cinder for killer instinct , kabal and striker , cyrax from mortal kombat ( i'd say sub-zero , since i liked him since the original mk but since everyone loves him i can no longer stand him ) and eddie ,paul and yoshimitsu from tekken.

Favorite female characters are : Peach from SSBB , katana from MK , Jun from tekken, orchid from killer instinct , No one from street fighter ( seriously fuck the female characters from that series ) .

Akuma has been my best, and favorite character since I played Street Fighter Alpha 3 (favorite fighting game evar!!!).

Going by game:
I like Ragna and Hazama from BlazBlue.
SF 4. Gouken. Akuma.
Street Fighter Alpha 3: Akuma, so much! He has been my favorite character since that game! Also, I liked Karen and Juri. Juri's just tight!
MvC3. I like Dante, but I haven't really played it enough (rented it for a day).
SSB. Ike is my favorite in Brawl, and Sheik from Melee.

Screw Chun-Li. I hope she dies.

Gotta be anyone from Blazblue, me and my brother have bonded so much over these games. My favourite character is Hakuman and when i pulled off Band Shigama's special move the first time me and my brother were in stitches.

Funniest is certainly Dan Hibiki. I remember beating my best friend at SF4 with Dan over and over and over. (Yeah, my friend kind of sucked at SF4)

Um... All my ones are from Marvel vs Capcom, because I'm a Marvel nerd.

Favourite Good Guy: Hulk. Because he's the furking Hulk, and I can empathise with a person afraid of his anger.
Favourite Good Girl: X-23, my favourite comic book character an the one that got me into comics.
Favourite Bad Guy: Magneto, because I love those dramatic speaches.
Favourite Bad Girl: Phoenix (She totally counts), because I'm a massive X-men fan and she's been such a staple of the series for so long.
Favourite Boss: Apocalypse, MVC2. Every summer I used to go camping with my family, there was this little market by the camping grounds that had MVC2 on an arcade machine. Dear lawd did I spend a lot of time on that damn machine, and I remember Appocolypse being monumental and badass.

Honda is my favourite fighting game character. Pretty much all charge characters I like on street fighter 2 except bison (dictator). In street fighter 4 it's a bit different it doesn't feel as awkward doing the motions because of the ridiculous input leniancy.

And since I played super smash bros, my favourite character is luigi. I play him often in all of the super smash bros games.

Favorite male hero: I gotta go with Ike from SSBB. Can't beat an exploding greatsword. heh.
Favorite female hero: Chun-Li and Samus. There really aren't that many good female fighting characters, are there?

Favorite anti-hero: Stun (the Insect) from Bloody Roar. Dude's got a wicked look and some killer wrestling moves... plus he can turn into a giant fighting beetle, and that's awesome.

Favorite male villain (playable): Tie. Akuma for his sheer badassness, and Mag-fking-neto. If you know that phrase, you know why. heh.
Favorite female villain: Yuri from SSF4. That chick is crazy. Tira from Soul Calibur works really well too.

Favorite boss (non-playable): Master Hand (Super Smash Bros.), or Yami (Tatsunoko vs Capcom).
