I like quick time events. I can't get enough of them.

Okay, that's not true. I really like the Mercenaries games mechanic of being able to call in support, vehicles, and air strikes whenever you want. It makes for some truly creative problem solving.

I've never played Mirror's Edge, what was it and what did it do?
Mirror's Edge is basically a platformer that allows you to pull off Prince of Persia-esque moves to get you to where you need to go, except that you play in first person. It generally goes light on combat with the most emphasis on parkour and you can take multiple pathways but you ultimately end up going down a linear route. It's only single player and about six hours long, but in my opinion it's short and sweet.

OT: Destructible terrain is always fun. There was a level in Red Faction that was pretty much Blood Gulch, except much shorter from end to end. A friend and I played split screen and we used rockets to dig as far outside the level as we could, then when we couldn't create any more holes in the terrain, we picked up the fusion rocket launchers on each building, hid in the tunnels we created and tried to kill each other while inside our own tunnels. We wasted so many hours doing that.
