This may sound odd, but I have noted in a few occasions that people sometimes have games that they really love...but very rarely play. Halo (1), Battlefront (1 or 2), KoToR, etc. Games you really really loved when you played them, but can't be bothered to play again. Do any of you have games like this?
For me, it'd be Legacy of Kain: Defiance. I loved that game, despite it's camera and combat issues. It's easily one of my favorites, both for the game and the universe (especially the universe), but I never play it...I haven't played it in years, even though it's sitting right there on my shelf.
What about you guys?

For me, it's got to be Dragon Age. I played it once but just can't do it again. I love it, but knowing what'll happen ruins it and I can't keep interested.

Borderlands :( I love that game (I don't think I've had as much mindless fun in a while) but I completed it split-screen with my housemate, and I've since moved out. I'm waiting to get a few of my friends to buy it and then play it over live with them, I tried playing it solo, but I can't be bothered.

I'm with you on this one. The first play through was so memorable because of the brilliant character development of your party and the original scenarios and choices. I've tried a second playthrough but can't get into it because I already know what the characters say. So I try to be a massive dick to everyone, but even then there's not too much difference with the niceguy route.

Colosseum: Road to Freedom, it was a gladiator game on the ps2 and I would love to play it again but not only can I not find it anywhere, but I no longer have a ps2. I would play it nonstop if I could.

Timesplitters 3. My favourite game of all time but I only go on it when my cousins come round which is about once a month.

Dragon Age: Origins.
I beat it twice, doing the opposite of what I did the first time, but now I can't re-do something, because it just gets redundant.

"Zombie" on Call of Duty 4.
A private match gametype me and my friends made up/stole/adapted that involves one "zombie" who runs around trying to knife everyone on the other team. The other team can't harm the zombie, so it boils down to one guy chasing several other guys aimlessly around a map for hours. It's so much better played in Old School mode too.

Since MW2's release we've never played it, even though none of us play MW2 either.

Well it was up until today starcraft 2 as i had the cd for 4-5 days and couldn't install it. As i'm watching the 12gigs install atm im thinking, maybe Dota or Metal Gear Zolid 1 or 2, i have just been practicing on my warcraft 3 rts playing to start up with Sc2 and man was i rusty. (haven't played for over a month closed beta).

Games i really enjoy i usually play through a couple of times as long as they aren't really long RPGS. Rpg's seem to be ok for the first playthrough but the second time you remember all the dry spills of boredom and i end up quitting in one of those.

I haven't played Oblivion in quite a while, I've made so many characters and passed everything that after I 100 percented the achievements I really just haven't bothered to go back. Still a smashingly good game though.

Fallout 3, I love that game but I think I might have done everything interesting in it.
Pretty much this along with Batman: Arkham Asylum and Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I love the games to death, but I just can't make myself play them again. I did all there was to do, and now it would be too much effort to go back in again.

Oh and Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition, because the controls are wonky and it looks like an ass.

Oblivion(I can't find my Morrowind disc D:) I enjoy it but it just bores me to death sometimes.
Same here - it's a great game, but there's just... something wrong with it, that stops me from playing that and keeps me playing Morrowind.
For me it's the lack of atmosphere. I haven't played Neverwinter Nights in a while... I should do that.

That would be Kotor. Great game but since I did pretty much everything in it, I quickly got bored with it.
