Your favourite and least favourite pokemon types!

I was just playing Platinum, when I thought I would ask the Escapist community what their favourite and least favourite pokemon types are and why?

mine are...
Favourite: Dragon
Least Favourite: Normal

I like the Dragon type simply because they have few weaknesses on their own and generally tend to be quite powerful pokemon, aswell as looking pretty brutal.

I hate the Normal type because, it is good against nothing yet has a weakness to fighting. (not including hidden power)

I don't care for pokemon anymore, I played it when the original 151 were around, but after that I faded out of it.

anyways, favourite is electric, just like the legendary pokemon for it (can't remember the name anymore...)

least favourite? can't even remember anymore lol

I usually favoured Rock or Water.

I disliked Plant.

I really don't like grass Pokemon, just because of their lack of moves compared to others. I would say Dragon Pokemon are probably my favorite, but psychic, ice and steel (Just annoying theres bugger all good steel Pokemon that don't require some sort of trading) follow closely.

Least Favourite: Psychic

Love Psychic Pokémon because I just think they're awesome.
Hate them because they're slow, and even though they're strong againast most things, they're weak against the same things, so they die a lot.

I agree, Scizor is a sexy beast but getting one is a pain in the arse!

my favorite types are dragon, steel, electric, dark, fighting, and fire. I usually have one pokemon with each of these traits in my party, some of them doubles. I like fighting because of their high accuracy, their buffs, their strength and because a lot of their moves hit more than once. Dragon are a no-brainer. I like electricity because they have powerful non-physical attacks which can wipe out ghost types easily. Dark types are fun because they get cool attacks that can cause flinching and knock out ghosts. Steel are cool because of their high defense. Fire are good because they get attacks that can cause burn and their attacks are usually pretty powerful. I hate rock and psychic because rock is too easy to beat and good psychics are hard to catch and train, and are not worth it in my opinion.

Least favorite types in order:
Grass
Rock
Bug

Which sucks because its hard to use my loved Steel types when everybody has earth and fire moves.

I generally liked psychic, fighting and electric, while i must say i hate the poison types.

favourite types; Ice (just to maul dragons really) a purely offensive type, I also used to love Articuno when I was younger. And then steel for it's defensiveness. Now just to combine the two...I'd probably end up with something that did neither job particularly well

least favourite is Psychic, not sure why I've just never seen the need to use one and they were way to powerful on red/blue.

Psychic have the best moves, dragons tank well, and the fire starters are the best in all the games except gold, silver, and crystal

Fire rules! Every game I ever got I always picked fire.

Never really like Psychic though.

my favorite is dark metal type its only weakness is its self and there are like only two dark metal types and it I think it has a resistance to electricity how does that work?

then my least is ghost I mean come on OH WERE THE MOST POWERFUL EVER BUT WE HAVE NO WEAKNESS EXCEPT OURSELVES?! there is an obvious weakness to light based attacks... but it was the developers choice I suppose

I love the Dratini evolutionary line particularly.

Favorite types are Dragon, Electric, Water, and Fire.

I hate using Rock, Bug, and Poison.

I hate facing anything that relies on status changes.
