I know that this has being done before, but I really want to find out. So what is your favourite anime movie. It has to be a movie, and please keep it tasteful. Mine would have to be Kiki's delivery Service. One of the best films of all time. Tell me yours.

Perfect Blue. A kick-ass psychological thriller if ever there was one. I love several anime movies but none other comes close to this Satoshi Kon masterpiece.

Hell's an "anima"? If you mean "anime," my favorite is a tie between Blood: The Last Vampire and Princess Mononoke.

Tough choice... I think I'd probably have to go with Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence. I liked the first one too, but 2 had all these bizarre cryptically philisophical lines that I enjoyed trying to figure out just what the hell they meant.

Though if you'll allow me the mention of a live action adaptation of an anime, a film I liked even better was Katsuhiro Otomo's adaptation of Mushishi.

First choice would definately be Kiki's Delivery Service.

THough if i had to pick a second, it would have to be Spirited Away.

The answer to that question could be so different depending on whether you meant to put an E instead on an A at the beginning or ending of anima.

Evangelion 2.0: You Can (Not) Advance. This film is perfect in every way. Awesome re-imagining of Eva, great characters, beautiful animation, perfect music. No film I've seen in my life can top it.

I'm not sure if it counts, but Princess Mononoke (something like that, dude with demon arm is in it).

If that doesn't count, Applesees Ex Machina. The title may be off, but it's directed by John Woo and thus immediately wins fucking something.

This. I fell in love with Evangelion and Rei Ayanami (<3) once again because of that film.

Also, I'm not sure if Hellsing Ultimate counts, but if it does, it's also a great one. Other than that, I haven't seen many anime movies, particularly the ones everyone is mentioning.

Probably "Howl's Moving Castle", but anything by Miyazaki makes me smile. Other contenders include "Appleseed" and "Vampire Hunter D".

Straitjacket. It is really really awesome. Basically the premise is that magic is used as the ultimate energy source but eventually the person using it can be mutated into a demon
