So fellow Escapists what is your favourite DLC (Downloadable Content)?

Mine is simple and I haven't played many DLCs better, Shivering Isles in Oblivion. It's practically an extra game. Bethesda makes, in my opinion, the best DLCs.

I would love to say Awakening, but I didn't love it that much.
I played through it once, it was worth what I paid, but DA:O is fine without it. It's literally MOAR WARDEN!! Which is good, but not enough.

I guess Shale was DLC and without Shale my life would be less awesome. So Stone Prisoner.

Eye of the North for Guild Wars.

I probably would of chosen GW:Factions but an expansion that is literally a whole new stand alone game I wouldn't put under just DLC.

Reasons for choosing EoTN? Getting to cash in all the things I have worked hard for in Guild Wars for extra prizes in GW2 :D. Plus the environments and quests are some of the best across the whole game.

All the Oblivion DLC closely follows behind, goodamn I love Frostcrag Spire.

Mass Effect 2's Lair of the Shadow Broker, hands down. Awesome in every way. Come to think of it, most BioWare DLC is really good. Everything else from ME2 and everything from DA:O (although Witch Hunt was a bit wibbly) is all great.

Inb4 Lair of the Shadow Broker. I don't buy much DLC, but this was my fave. And since I've yet to complete Oblivion, even though I have the GOTY edition I can't say on that.

EDIT: Damn Ninja'd

Mmm, that's a tough one.

I really liked "Point Lookout" from Fallout 3, but not as much as I like Arival from ME2. Broken Steel was also good, but I really liked Undead Nightmare. And after The Pit, I kinda didn't like Fallout 3 DLC as much. Shadowbroker was... ok. It was best for a Liara romance Shepard, but other than that, it kinda felt... contrived, at least for me. I didn't do much of the Dragon Age DLC, so I can't really talk about that. And those are really the only games I got DLC for

Overall, I would say Arival for Mass Effect 2. I don't know why, but I really like it.

Undead nightmare for Red Dead Redemption. It was better than a lot of full priced retail games. That, or any Borderlands DLC.

Undead Nightmare was awesome, money well spent. Shadow broker was really good to. I didn't like arrival much though. It was supposed to bridge the gap between Me2 and 3, but it didn't tell us anything we couldn't make out from the first Me3 trailer. It just felt pointless.

Shivering Isles is an expansion pack that you can also download.

As for DLC, meh. I rarely buy it, and its even more rare that I feel I've gotten my money's worth.

Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, that was pretty damn fun, best dark humor I've heard from a game in quite a while.

This is very true....although I didn't download EotN; I bought it from Amazon, but still.

Failing that, Shadowbroker was cool. Also, sticking with Mass Effect, Kasumi is one of my favourite characters so I'd have to say her.

Also there's Broken Steel, which was awesome.

And then the additional Mercenaries on RE5, because that's always fun.

Bad Company 2: Vietnam was surprisingly interesting and well-balanced compared to the base game.

The weapon updates for Team Fortress 2. The unlockables are (mostly) balanced and open up new play styles for the various classes.

Best part: it's free!

Another point for Lair of the Shadow Broker. Better than the normal gameplay. Though I've heard RDR DLC is very good. ME DLC is the only DLC I've been able to play through, all others I've tried has been tedious.

Hey, look! Yet another person who says Lair of the Shadow Broker. That DLC was simply amazing--bonus points if you had a relationship with Liara and you stayed faithful to her for the second game.

Coming in at a close second is The Writer for Alan Wake. THAT is how the game itself should have ended.
