So what's your favourite credits song? By credits song I mean the first thing you hear when finishing a movie, game or TV show episode and the credits roll. Anything that had an impact on you, changed the way you thought about something or you just plain liked listening to.

Remember to put all your youtube links in spoilers and put a bit of text saying what they are as to not spoil anyone who hasn't finished the thing you're posting the credits off.

Here's three of mine:

This is just a perfect summation of the series, and after busting up the final boss, it reminded me of the 90s credit music I grew up with and loved so much in so many ways.

EDIT: Forgot one more, the credit music to Max Payne 2, the way that game ended told me that Max's story was over, and it is why I cannot play Max Payne 3, because his story was over.

Evangelion 2.0 was the first one to pop to my mind. IMO it fits perfectly with the rest of the film. Couldn't find a better quality version of it sadly :(
Another choice would be the ending song of the third Berserk movie. The movie was a bit uneven with the score, but man, this song really captures the darkness of the series.

No seriously, I love the ending credits to that movie. It plays very slick, slow-mo, black and white images of the characters while Radiohead's 15 Step plays on. It looks and sounds very cool.

I couldn't find the original track to the end credits of Spirited Away, but that one too. Also the Tokyo Godfathers renditon of 'Ode to Joy'.

For me, nothing tops Deadman's Gun from Red Dead Redemption. A beautiful piece of music that ends the game perfectly.

These two come to my mind-
The song is sweet and I like how the Gundam were erroded away by nature.]

The song is sweet too and while the chibli is nothing new (they did it for the last ending songs) but I did like seeing Erza growing up.

I guess this is somewhat cheating since the song itself is like 10min long which they used all of it into ending snippet which in turn each snippet relate to the episode progress ( like extra characters pop up in the credit).
Shame that they edit it out on the Wii version as it is so edit and it's a nice farewell sort of song to an awesome game.

This is one of my recent favorites:

This was originally a Hank Williams song, but they changed the lyrics slightly to suit the Joker.

My absolute favorite video game end credits song is from the first Mass Effect.
Seriously, it fit perfectly with the tone the game had set. And it sounds gloriously 80's, so it fit in well with the game's mostly synth soundtrack. Mass Effect 2's end credits theme was such a disappointment in comparison.

I remember when I finished Mass Effect for the first time. I got the same feeling that I got the first time I watched Star Wars trilogy as a kid. Just a feeling of "awe" and ultimate satisfaction.

Runner up would be the ending theme from Final Fantasy VI.
And here is an orchestrated version for good measure
A really satisfying ending, especially since it took me almost a year to finally finish the game (between school and other stuff). It's still to this day, one of my favorite ending to anything.

The music is half the reason this game's ending makes me bawl my fuckin' eyes out every single time.

Ah man, I was going to post that.
Oh well.

I quite liked the song for Borderland's credit roll.

Also, when I was younger, I really liked the ending song for Balto. Not gonna lie, still do.

the end credits music to mass effect 1 ended up becoming my favourite song of all time

if I'd first heard it outside the context of the game idk if I'd like it as much as I do

I'm certain there are more, I need to think about it for a bit.
Ah I liked the Last Unicorn a whole bunch, but that would also count as one of my favorite opening credit songs since it is pretty much the same.

I uhhh... honestly don't pay much attention to the end credits songs. This is one of the only ones that sticks out in my head.
