I'm sorry if this thread has been done before, but I did a quick search and couldn't find much.

So what are your favourite podcasts? Which ones do you religiously download each weak within a minute of release or just casually catch up on from time to time?

I'm quite new to the podcasting world and was typically introduced to them by The Ricky Gervais Show [http://www.rickygervais.com/podcasts2.php].

In terms of gaming I haven't listened to many, the only one which I listen to on a week basis is Podtoid [http://www.destructoid.com/?t=podtoid] which is hosted by everyone's favourite, Jim Sterling. It's quite amusing with some quality game talk, but if you are looking for a serious games podcast, this is not for you.

A friend recommended IGN Beyond [http://feeds.ign.com/ignfeeds/podcasts/beyond/] which is their PS3 podcast. I struggled to ever get into this, but I hear that it is quite popular.

I also listened to the few that Yahtzee Crowshaw [http://fullyramblomatic-yahtzee.blogspot.com/] did, they were very good but are unfortunately not a regular item.

Mine would have to be the "All Gen Gamers" and "The Drunk Tank" podcasts. All Gen Gamers is a collaboration of 4 YouTube gamers that just get together and chat about a subject and The Drunk Tank is a podcast done by people at Rooster Teeth. They both have that similar "Just chilling with the guys" kind of vibe and it's cool to just sit back and feel like you're chilling with some good buds :)

The Escapist Podcast

Roleplayer's Realm (gamepro.com): crpg-focused, low-key and in-depth, similar to The Escapist, carries on from Active Time Babble at 1up.com (good back episodes if you're into rpgs)

The Out-Cast (theoutcastpodcast.blogspot.com): Japan-based game journalists and industry workers discuss the Japanese gaming scene; it's on their own time so it's not every week, but it's great when they can get an episode cut, and they usually do a 2-3 hr. show

State of the Game; a Starcraft 2 podcast where some casters and players get together to talk about all the crazy happenings with the Pro-scene metagame.
