Your favourite outdoor activity

Hello escapist.

I think it's time we take a step back from our usual discussions on video games, and politics, and all manner of things mostly done by sitting on your butt and take a look into the great wide world we must step into when e're running low on vital food and games to play. So my question is what is that you as a gamer enjoy to do without the aid of electricity or being indoors. Do you enjoy playing sports, do you love to take walks, do you find pleasure in looking out upon the moonlit surface of a lake on a warm summers night as you dump a body.

Personally my favourite thing to outdoors is go camping. Nothing beats spending a weekend away from home out in the Australian bush. Spending the day swimming in the nearby river and pitching the tent and spending nights toasting jaffles by a roaring bonfire. I've had a passion for camping since my days in the scouts, and since I left I've lived out that passion many a time. So what's yours?

my favourite activity of the outside variety is easily soccer, though ican enjoy most other sports.

Bike riding, except for all of the bogan retards who call out stuff like 'Wanker!' Which once startled me enough to make me almost swerve into traffic.

Going into the city with friends and hanging out, getting food and causing mischief is a lot of fun.

I enjoy canoeing. Boating of any sort really, and fishing.
I'm pretty fond of doing normal activities like drawing or writing outside, it always tends to add a different spin on my usual style.

Basketball, but thats considered indoors. But still, I play outside also

I like climbing onto and sitting on boulders, and looking out onto bodies of water. I managed to pass a pleasant afternoon a few times sitting on a rocky shoreline, eating lunch, reading Negima, and looking out onto the bay.

Other things...photographing plants, laying out on grassy hills, and finding small or hidden trails. Kayaking is an extremely rare treat, as well, but I always look forward to it.

So I would say my favorite outdoor activity is being with my friends.

Running, soccer, backpacking. There's nothing more fun than strapping on forty pounds of equipment and disappearing into the mountains for a week and a half.

Alright, to be more honest, my favorite outdoors activity was when I lived in Honolulu walking down Kalakaua Blvd at night hanging out with the street performers.
