What was your first game that you actually bought with your own money mine was MOH Allied Assault.

Mine would be Project Gotham Racing 2, I think. I got that when I was around 10 and bought it with money I had saved up from allowances and pay for doing yard work for neighbors. It was the best game I had ever played, well, at the time.

That's a tough one. Might be Age of Empires 2 but my memory is awful.

Ugh, that I bought with my OWN money? Sheesh. My dad bought all my games up to I was probably around 14-15 or so. I.e I only got new games on my birthday/christmas because I really wasn't earning any money before that. But I really, really don't know..I payed for my own gamesystem when I was 17, and I think..Starcraft? Yeah, might have been Starcraft.

Pokemon Blue I believe. I got it when I was 7 from a pawn shop somewhere in town, with my allowance that I had saved up for.

I brought Spyro the dragon: Gateway to Glimmer when I was 6 or 7. I played that game so much and loved it so much.

I can recall it was very expensive back then by today's standards. Many a shoveled driveway, frozen fingers and toes, paid for it.

Heroes of the Pacific,
a mildly entertaining arcade-y flying game. I managed to break the game, and couldn't unlock the last airplane.

Looking back, it was a terrible game, full of bad design, bugs and ridiculous difficulty curves.
