ok there is alwais games that we all hate and some we love. But no mater what there is part of evry game that we like even if it is a bad game and things we hate even in good games what im saying is what are theese parts and in what games what would u do to ur fav games to make them your perfect game because while games i love have bad parts just one tweek wold make that game amasing the developers try but they i would asume do what think is cool there needs to be a mass poll with all gamers just to see what would make a good game in sence make a game that the people come up with once ou finish one part you do a poll on the next and ombat sys ext ext ext. make a game that the people come up with let them vote on the mechanics hae the developers make the story but have the mechanics on poll dont tell the people what choice won make that a supprise this would make it easyer to make a sucessfull game but what are those parts yall love and hate...

Ok firstly that hurt to read, but i think i got the gist of it. (punctuation can be your friend)

From what i gather you are suggesting that a poll is held to work out the best parts of all games and then have a developer create a game based on the results.

While it's a nice idea in theory, in practice it would be a nightmare.

For example, a large proportion of the gaming community has different tastes to myself and vice versa, what I think is good, others may hate with a passion.

This means that if the game were created to my tastes alone (or like minded people, I'm sure there are some out there somewhere) there would still be a large portion of the gaming community that dislikes part or all of the finished project.

essentially it boils down to the old "you can't please everyone" adage.

As to the best parts of games, for my choice you could have;
the story-telling of Max Payne (with the same style comic-book cutscenes)
the graphics from Heavy Rain (which would count for gameplay only for the above reason)
the sound design from Bad Company 2
the comedy and one liners from the Lucasarts team (Monkey Island before it was ruined by "Tales")
Gunplay from Max Payne/Wet/Stranglehold
Vehicle combat from Road Rash (for bikes) Burnout (for cars)
an intuitive cover system from the various games out there (eat lead, gears of war etc)
the leveling system from fallout 3

and that's about as much as I can think of right now.

As to what the game would turn out like. . . probably really bad as a result of having to throw that lot together.

Not a bad topic, but damn you need a spell checker.

O.T:I would not change a game for the better, as not only would the game be liked by me and like minded people, but i find( and I may be one of the few) that the flaws and things I dislike are just as importent as the good parts, not only because some people may like those parts that I think slurp crap threw a straw, but because I find faults endearing in a way.

What I'm saying is what are the parts in games that you do to your favorite games to make them your perfect game, because while games I love have bad parts just one tweak would make that game amazing

The developers try but they I would assume do what think is cool, there needs to be a mass poll with all gamers just to see what would make a good game in sence make a game that the people come up with once you finish one part you do a poll on the next and combat system ect ect ect. Make a game that the people come up with, let them vote on the mechanics, have the developers make the story, but have the mechanics on poll. Don't tell the people what choice won, make that a supprise. This would make it easier to make a sucessful game, but what are those parts y'all love and hate...
Fix'd as far as I can tolerate at this time (almost 11:00 here, I need to go to bed). You need to use capitaliztion, punctuation, spell and grammar check, etc.

But I do like your idea. Theoretically it could work.

And welcome to the Escapist.

Your post was hard to navigate.

I would take the controls of Prince of Persia 2008, the sound from Bad Company, the graphics from Crysis 2 (seriously... have you seen screens from it? It's incredible to say the least), the voice acting from Dragon Age Origins, and the story of BioShock.

Not the exact elements, but elements like them.

right i see what u are saying but like the topic suggests its ur game. and as long as the majority of the gamers like the thing they vote on there is at least a shit losd of them that like the thing. so ya i see what ur saying it could turn out to be a nightmare, or it could turn out to be a good idea and as for the puncuation i am dyslexic one of my things is spelling and puncuation i use as the videos suggest zero puncuation usealy.

What?

I'm too tired to sift through that right now, but I recommend that at the very least you press your return key a bit more.

I would take all RPGs and JRPGs and fix all the over arching speeches ever made by the characters that are suppose to be simpletons. Then life would be good.
