The unicorn as you should know is a one horned horse that is said to be neigh impossible to capture. In gaming, it can be anything. From the 1 weapon to rule them all you just can't get, a neigh impossible summon, etc.

What is your gaming unicorn and were you ever able to get it?

For me it was the Red Bull X1 (recently renamed X2010) in Gran Turismo 5. I unlocked the challenges and my best time was 8 seconds off the bronze time, so I gave up on that method and tried the alternate way of getting it via hitting level 35. The most recent update made the bronze times easier, so I gave it another go. After a few hours of trail and error, and error, and some more error, then some luck, then another batch of error; I finally beat the new times and I have captured my unicorn.

My current gaming Unicorn is trying to breed a Gengar with the right moves and nature in Pokemon SoulSilver, entirely possible but quite the chore.

It's not tied to a specific game for me, but rather more general in nature.

My gaming unicorn is the verbally well-behaved and mature in-game online community, where noone calls me atrocious things or implies me being sexually attracted to my mother for doing something outrageous like, say, fragging them repeatedly in a round of free-for-all deathmatch.

OT: I'd go with that Unicorn in Oblivion (I named him "Pointy") I caught him once, and later he attacked me and ran away. I have no idea where to find him again. Sort of a literal interpretation, but it's true.

What is Excalibur 2?
Excalibur2 is Steiner's strongest weapon. But this is the hardest weapon to receive. In order to get Excalibur2, you have to go to Memoria, the last dungeon, Within 12 Hours!

Basically, play through the game at the lowest possible level, don't fight a single random battle, don't do a single sidequest, skip every FMV cutscene by opening your playstation... Yeah.

Fuck that.

Any shiny Pokemon after I caught two Tentacool in Ruby. Well ok one time I've encounter a shiny Slugma in Diamond but I was pair up with that stupid AI who fainted it (I learn later that you can use your Pokemon to attack your own teammate Pokemon). I hope lkady luck is kinder to me in Pokemon White.
