You decide to bust out the old NES and play one of your favorite games. It doesn't work so you blow on the game. After doing this 3 times a genie appears and will grant you three wishes related to video games. What are yours?

Mine:
1. To be good at fighting games. I have cerebral palsy so there will always be a ceiling for how good I can be in fighting games. This is very frustrating as I really enjoy the genre.
2. Developers I like never run out of ideas, funds or go out of business.
3. Consumers have actual power and we could actually boycott effectively.

1. To gain the knowledge and tools to make my own games or to control my own gaming producer.
2. For the second video game market crash to be averted by a sudden influx of good ideas from Nintendo and Sony.
3. To have a paying job writing scripts/plots for the industry.

I stare at the genie and sip some iced-tea for a moment, lay back on my pillow and wish for:

1. Extra long patience on difficult games.
2. Obtain developer's kit for Naughty Dog's Crash Bandicoot 2 and build a new secret level and warp room.
(That's where you 2nd wish would have been nice to really happen)
3. Some more iced-tea!

Let's see...

[ul][li]First and foremost, a (good) game that combines all of the diplomacy and ground exploration and third-person shooting/abilities of Mass Effect with the crew management and space combat of Star Trek: Starfleet Command 3 and Star Trek Online. Hopefully with a massive, semi-open universe that has plenty of equally massive planets you can orbit and land on to explore and find little side-quests.[/li]

[li]Then, for a laptop that will never struggle to run the newest games on the highest settings, so that I need not worry about the portability of my game collection or upgrading ever again, and a mouse that won't bloody start flipping out on me after six months of use (of course worded so that it would never flip out on me...)[/li]

[li]And lastly, for the ability to not grow bored with slowly-paced games, or long games that I've played before.[/li][/ul]

That should do.

Oh my... well
1)To release an HD remake of Front Mission 3 with awesome graphics, animations, and gameplay that would combine all strengths of Front Mission 3, 4, 5
2)As Shrek said, to have some perfect one in all notebook that would be capable of running perfectly any game at any time on highest settings, that would never get any bugs or viruses and that would always have super fast and stable connection
3)To receive some super game development and design skills

1) For developers/producers to stop producing infinite sequels/DLCs to milk money while bringing zero inovation.
2) A game that has sex added as one of its core themes without being weird/shy/lame about it.
3) Free reliable infinite speed internetz for everyone.

{1} Cheat codes for real life.

{2} A continuation or decent completion of certain gaming series. (I'd give gim a list that involves Legacy of Kain, Skies of Arcadia, Oddworld, Megaman X, Metroid, etc.)

{3} For all those ridiculous people speaking out against violent video games to lose their voice every time they wanna bring it up.
