Hello Escapians, as ever, I'm wondering about The Escapist community tonight. There's that special chill in the air...

So, I was wondering, what's your Geekbench score? For those who don't know, "Geekbench" is a benchmark program you run to measure your systems performance.

This is one of the scores I got on my new 21.5" iMac (Late 2009 model). Results can vary on the same machine so I'd recommend doing it a few times.

[small]My old iMac G4 got a score of 398... Awesome.[/small]

[HEADING=1]- New Challenges -[/HEADING]

Find a computer with a lower score than my old iMac G4's score of 398! Then of course post a screenshot. Completed by DoctorNick!

Get a score over 9000.

Get a score below 150.

Or

+10 geek points if you manage to port Geekbench to an Atari 2600 or BBC Micro...

2245 was better than I was expecting, especially as my memory was nearly in triple figures.

However, I need a new graphics card if I want to continue gaming seeing as my current one can't run Psychonauts without lag.

My average score was 3960 working on a screen shot give me five minutes.

I ran 5 tests calculated my average and this is the closest test score to the average I got.

I'm not sure how to add images here to be honest, but I think I've gotten a high score: 5451 on the trial edition (32 bit)

I bet it would look nicer if I got to run it in 64-bit mode.

Edit: Wow, I didn't even pay attention to the number until just now. Damn my i7 rocks!

will do... thing with my computer is windows rates it at 4.1 because the normal system graphics come in at that, but the gaming graphics are a 4.9 so I don't see why I should care.

Yeah, mine's like 2500ish. Not bad for a laptop. I expect my actual PC would do slightly better.

About 2500 here.

What's odd is that it says I only have 3gb of RAM. I know for sure there are 4 x 1gb sticks in it. Does that mean one of them might be defective? I'd just think my computer would crash in that case.

Anyway, I'm planning to upgrade CPU, harddrive and RAM (to fit the new motherboard) very soon.

I got...

265!

...

This is the point where I'm probably going to break out into mad cackling that devolves into sobbing.

I'd post mine, but I'm too embarressed by how bad it is. All I'll tell you is that it's below 1300

2049. Not surprised, I don't use this for anything more than music and msn so it's not cut out to be a super gaming rig or anything.
