your home on the internet

If the internet was a neighborhood, suburb, city, etc. where would you live, work, spend time?

I also do expect lots of responses of 4chan, so keep that to a minimum.

Here, naturally. I tend to move between the Anime Fans and Visual Novels user groups as living space, User Reviews as a sitting room, and the other forums as the yard.

Also, I have a tunnel dug between here and my second home on a trio of boards at GameFAQs.

Occasionally, I spend the night at a friend's apartment at TV Tropes.

The escapist would be my home or dorm full of the people i know and spend time with, GameTrailers would be my job and... uh... porn would be the local cathouse and otakucenter would be the place for entertainment.

Sounds weird to 'personify' the internet in such a way.

I forgot this. TvTropes would be my opium den. The place i go to to waste away an entire morning, afternoon and evening and go home with my mind blown.

My best internet friends are on the forum for Metroid Prime 2D, but the game was shut down a long time ago so there are only a dozen or so of us left. But we're basically as close as real friends. And then this place is the really awesome place where I work, doing a job I love.

Well since the Off Topic boards of my youth no longer exist, Bioware's messages boards are about as fun as sandpaper, and GameFAQs isn't funny nearly enough, I'd park it right here. This is a nice place with plenty of videos and new topics popping up at a consistent pace.

I live on Facebook, I'd love to work at the Escapist or Deadspin, and for fun I'll hit the sports bar at ESPN and ESPN3.com.

I would say Facebook because all my friends are on there, but The Escapist would definitely be my number one hangout spot.

My "work" would be my schools website because I turn in a good portion of my work online.

The next on my list would be ThatGuyWithTheGlasses, Wikipedia, Youtube, NoTreble, and maybe 4chan if I'm feeling saucy.

This is weird...

I'd probably be living in some apartment complex or otherwise dense neighbourhood around facebook, and visit the Escapist often, sometimes for leisure, sometimes for business. My passion-based job would be Wikipedia, and I'd go to youtube to consult and collaborate.

I'd also spend a bit of time at the Minecraft forums and UrbanToronto, and my weekend bar would be UltimateGuitar.com

EDIT: And I'd occasionally find myself at /s/ for completely nonsexual reasons. Sometimes it's just nice to appreciate beautiful women (which is rarely actually the content on /s/, which explains why I don't go there often.)

I started my life on the nSider forums. Those were good days so long ago.

Now I live on either The Escapist or Facebook with frequent trips to TVTropes, various webcomics, and sites associated with my university for the sake of homework.

So yeah, my internet time is busy. But whatever.
