Your Ideal Variations For Deathmatch, CTF etc

I guess it's hard coming up with new game mode ideas for multiplayer shooters. I mean Gears of War 2's Horde is the newest idea, and now the big name games took advantage of it with their variations. (Nazi Zombies/Onslaught/Firefight)

So, how would you add variety to the classic modes of deathmatch, domination, capture the flag etc.

How about Invasive Species mode: Two teams try to kill/capture as many of the AI as possible. You can kill the enemies, but that will only keep you from the true objective. Like other objective matches, you'd have to find a happy medium between what scores points and what gets PvP kills.

Deathmatch: Evasion.

Basically, one player is selected who has to make his way to an objective. Unfortunately, he only has access to a pistol, a melee weapon, and limited parkour moves. The rest of the players get to pick their arsenal at the expense of slower, less agile movement.

The maps would ideally be large urban areas, with plenty of areas to hide and ways for the hunted to evade his opponents.

I think it would be loads of fun, if made correctly.

I think Gear of War 2 did a good job messing with CTF by making the flag a guy with a shotgun. You've got to shoot him until he's down, then grab him as a human shield and get him to a certain point, which resets to the far side of the map every time the other team takes him from you. It's freaking awesome, as long as there are no douchebags holding on to him for the lulz. I'm kind of surprised no one else has tried copying that yet...
