An odd choice, I know, but I love the combination of violence and campy music (Especially in games like Fallout 3) and I intend to use it as the theme song for the game I'm writing...but that will likely never happen. One can dream though!

For me this song works everywhere. Killing people to music is good enough, but killing people to music that is so good that you have to sing along with just makes the whole sing incredibly obscure and awesome.

A strange thread, but it would have to be Iowa by Slipknot, not a big fan of the band but when I listened to this song the first time its all I could think about.

I would have to say Legion by Hammerfall. There's something about that song that just makes fragging my enemies that much more awesome

OP your song is very generic.

Almost as generic as Requiem for a Dream.

Anyway I don't really listen to music all that much in video games. Unless they have a soundtrack.

Any of these provide me with the sufficient levels of testosterone needed for kicking ass:

"Shoulder to the Plow" by Breaking Wheel
"Warriors of Light" by Freedom Call
"The Trooper" by Iron Maiden
"Hanger 18" by Megadeth
Either "Wake Up" or "Killing in the Name" by RATM

There are only about a billiion god damn AMVs of that song on Youtube with everything from Naruto to Starcraft. I never liked that song, now I have an undying hatred for it. I didn't want to be mean to the OP, but I really do HATE that song.

Dragula by Rob Zombie for a general shooter.
or Stop the Rock by Apollo 440 for TF2.

Depending on the mood of the game, I'd choose one of these three. Of course I'd have a playlist of metal to go with it so it wouldn't be just these three, but these are definitely ones that kick everything up a notch.

I like to listen to a lot of different music when gaming, I think it really affects how I play.

I usually like more philosophical songs and such usually in the genre of alternative rock
