mine would be when i place prox mines around all the spawn points in goldeneye and was summarly killed after the last mine was placed. and no one else had died while i was planting the mines. needless to say i no longer plant mines at spawn points.

Hah, I got one. I remember playing Eternal Darkness and was in the church. A monk was being attacked by a monster and I was frantically fending it off. And then I accidentally cut the monk's head off in the midst of my frenzied efforts. I actually cried out, "AHHH! I'm sorry!" when I did it too. XD

On-topic, Spending about 5 minutes with the mortar in Fallout 3 before finally just shooting the Super Mutant Behemoth with my Alien Blaster.

Could you private message me where to get the Alien Blaster, I have only ever found energy cells for it.

In UT2004, I have the Ballistic Weapons mod which gives a whole bunch of neat weapons and such. One such weapon is the tripmine.

The BW tripmines are awesome, as they can be triggered manually, and can be activated/deactivated remotely.

I was rigging up a route often used by the enemy with tripmines, and once I was done I turned them on.

I forgot to move first, and I was standing right in the way.

Boom.
