Most of us have played a game which required us to fight something. So! ... What was your most impressive battle/ kill? And what made it impressive?

It doesn't have to be a single 'kill', it may be that you killed many in a row.

For me:
On Rainbow Six Vegas 2 i was fighting my way up to the top of a building and shot someone who was firing at me, headshot, but just as it registered the kill their body went flying into the sky (a small glitch) and dissapeared into the sky.
Im sure i have a better one than that but i can't think of any. =/

I had a quick look around, i didnt see anything like this.

wasn't impressive as such, but one of the most satisfying i've had was the final boss on FF VIII. it took me many attempts to beat her, but when i finally did it i was so happy, and relieved!

Okay, this wasn't mine, but I was there to witness it and it was phenomenal. Also, it wasn't a kill or a battle, but a flag cap. But it was pretty damn impressive.

A few years ago me and some friends were having a Halo 3 LAN party. We set up 2 360s in my house and system linked them. We are playing Capture the Flag on some desert map (Never played enough Halo 3 to learn the names), and our entire team is dead save for ONE member who is running the flag. We respawn but we are to far away to help him and the entire enemy team is on him, including one person in a ghost.

So, our flag carrier approaches the goal, and just behind him is the ghost.. He can't see the ghost, he doesn't know it's there because none of us can see it. And just as the ghost boosts to splatter our the flag carrier, he randomly jumps.. He doesn't see the ghost coming, he just jumps because he can. Just then we all see the ghost narrowly speed under him, overshooting and flying past our goal. He survives, lands, and caps the flag, winning the game. We explode into cheering.

His random jump saved the game, it was pretty awesome.

On Godfather 2, killing a capo from another family, the one which you have to run over. I had the police on me, and missed the jump which would land me on the bastard, but luckily when he ran away into the road a police jeep drove straight into him. Luckily the game registered it as my kill so i didn't have to wait until he recovered. :D

I snuck up behind a hooker and

I once epically backpedalled across the whole map in Fallout 3 after being attacked by a deathclaw at level one. I eventually killed it though.

In TF2 i was a spy and there was a medic, a heavy and an engie with a dispenser in a small room underneath our postion. I disguised myself, backstabbed all 3 and sapped the dispenser. Yay!

Halo 3, Sandtrap, guy in Banshee as a last ditch effort tried for a splatter kill, i had already started charging a Spartan Laser, shot him, then dropped off the cliff to avoid impact, meanwhile somebody was trying to shotty me from behind at that stage, and got a face full of Banshee.

Double kill :)

ow and of course, numerous double headshots with the sniper rifle.

Probably playing CoD 4 online on my mate's PS3: was doing alright just running and gunning, then got bored so I pulled out my RPG and decided to fire it off randomly. As it happened, when I jumped around the corner, there was a guy just standing there who took it straight in the face.

We were on the floor with laughter for about 10 mins o_O

I planted a coconut too far from the beach in Animal Crossing...

Or more seriously, Wolfenstein: Enemy Territories I was playing a soldier with flamethrower and guarding the top of a wall that was set to explode, I started flaming the guys below using the flames to hide where I was then jumped as the wall exploded, landing in the courtyard near their spawn point. There were flames everywhere and I swear I must have killed every team member there, some probably more than once. Eventually and inevitably I succumbed to a combination of their bullets and my own fire.

In Oblivion, during the last part in the imperial city, I was fighting off hordes of dremora when a mage Dremora Valkynaz came up to Martin, then casted a touch fire spell. Martin, at the same time, retaliated with a frost touch spell, and the spells met at close range. The resulting explosion flung my level 25 character across from the Imperial Tower area to the wall surrounding it, 20 feet away. I then fell 10 feet from the wall behind a couple boulders.

Fortunately, I didn't die, it just took about 3/4 of my health.

God, I loved that game.

Firstly I feel I should say, this happened in Broadcast, in a small room on the first/second floor (Depends on your preference.).

In CoD 4, earlier today, I used a grenade launcher to kill an enemy player looking the other way, should have knifed him in hindsight. But anyway, little did I know the rest of the other team were literally just around the corner, and whom all of which decided to play "Kill the Trapped Enemy. So they all turn and run in, and I switch to my G3, and start aimlessly hip firing, until 3 are dead, then the remaining to retreat back a back, and start taking shots from from cover. I being trapped have no place to go but back, and do so without hesitation, then jump out of a window, my only real option. So I then hear to grenades go off, where I had just been, and decide to return the favor, and lob one back into the window, under the assumption one of them might have checked why I didn't die. A I get two more kills for my effort.

D.I.P.R.I.P.

There's nothing that says FUCK YOU like being chased, making a turbo-handbrake turn and giving you pursuer a faceful of heat seeking missiles/chaingun fire.

I used to be ACE at that game.

I played through a game of CoD4 online with only the deagle, and still managed to become MVP.

And once when playing 10-19 WSG I capped the flag 3 times in a row, without dying or killing anyone. (WSG being Warsong Gulch in World of Warcraft.)

I didn't do this, but I played local COD:WaW with my cousin, and he got off a couple great kills. One time he killed me with my own bouncing betty, and once he was shooting at my friend with a revolver from on the roof of one of the bridges in makin, ran out of ammo, and leapt down and knifed him when he came close.

In Oblivion, I used the construction set to create a super powered enemy. The battle took me about a half an hour of real time and hundreds of arrows, but I finally won.

I fought an hour long battle with Dagoth Ur at the end of Morrowind until I finally realised I wasn't doing any damage so I pushed him back into the lava.

CoD4 PS3:
Weapon: Single shot with a Dragonov,
Dead: 4 people, 2 headshots, 2 (I would assume) body shots,
Match: Hardcore Search and Destroy at Ambush,
XP gained: 200XP (not including 2 tasks completed, collateral damage and the one where you kill the bomb carrier)
