What's the one earworm that's bothered you the most in your life?

We all get an earworm sometimes; a song that repeats in your head after it is done playing. When this happens I usually tun to music that is overstimulating and/or overcomplicated. Good examples are things like Indonesian Jegog music or The Go! Team. The Go! Team always reminded me of The Old Electric Company show from the 70s.

Occasionally you get one that will not go away permanently; or do I need psychiatric help? Most recently My kid was watching the new Electric Company and THIS has been running in my head for like a week:

I haven't had an earworm this bad since I was a kid and saw Bedknobs and Broomsticks. Portabello Road still loops in my head sometimes.

I went to go see Anamanaguchi recently, and had basically all of their songs stuck in my head at once after the concert. Not that it was a bad thing, it just was probably the worst case I have had of it.

Playing classic video games gives me earworms pretty bad as well, but I suppose that and Anamanaguchi are more than closely related.

"My neck my back, lick my pussy and my crack". I don't even mind the song, but those words are infectious and are probably the worst kinds of words to sing.

Thanks for the responses but I still have this Electric Company song in my head. Any others?

Then you have kids. That one doesn't get me as bad anymore, I think those synapses seared themselves shut from firing too much when I was a kid. I remember being little and the end part of the number would just loop over and over again, like it was written to do that. It's still my favorite Disney movie; a witch battling a horde of Nazis, that's just good cinema.

I love Gogol Bordello, but the one of theirs that got stuck in my head real bad was Gypsy Part of Town.

...and it's sir btw.

I challenge you to listen to this and not be humming it for the rest of the week, it's cheerfulness encapsulated within sound.

This amazing mashup. It's especially bad when I'm walking the dog outside and I find myself singing "Smoke weed every day, every DAaaaaaa[sub]aaaaayyyy[/sub]"

I have a few. I listen to too much music :D

Been playing too much Naoto. Cannot get her theme out of my head... Probably because I associate it with hilariously cheap wins.

"Here goes... Be consumed by darkness!"

*shink*

K.O!

Never gets old.

Also Reach Out to the Truth... Never ever going to stop it from randomly popping into my head at any time.

It's a COMBAT version of Reach Out to the Truth. Yu is immediately Top Tier.

Finally this:

This thread is a lot less disgusting than it looks.

At the moment, this has been a earworm of mine for a few days:

And yes, that film is one of my favourite films. Engage with me, brethren.

I think most of the songs that I've had stuck in my head until it's gotten annoying has been from shows, movies or anime that I really loved.

Black Lagoon.
Sopranos.
Orange is the new black.

Ever since I watched the ToddintheShadows episode on it, Rihanna's "S&M" has been in my head at some point. Lyrically... it's pretty bad to suddenly realise you're singing along. I don't even hate the song but it's just wrong and I shouldn't like it. It's bothered me the most because of it... even worse than childhood songs I'd sing. It might just be the singing/beat that force it into it.

"Now the pain is my pleasure, 'cause nothing can measure"
"Sex in the air, I don't care I love the smell of it"
"Sticks and stones may break my bones but chains and whips excite me"
"I likitlikit" (I know it's 'like it like it', she just sings weird)
"And meet me in my boudoir, make my body say AH, AH, AH"

These lines aren't particularly "dirty" or out there, just very awkward when you sing them.

Also, there's a line from a song that I can't remember the name of, but it's just "My pussy be yankin'"... urgh why can't that line just leave my head? Oh yeah and Ke$ha's "Blah Blah Blah" deserves a mention for it's rancid awfulness and it's evil ability to stay in my head.

BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, NOT IN DA BACK OF MAH CAR-AR-AR.
I don't care where you live at, just turn around boy let me hit that
Don't be a little ***** with your chit-chat, just show me where your dick's at!
"HOLLA!!" (<--- Somebody should make that a gif and use it as a torture method)

I just can't cope.

The chorus of this is intractable. Not even a fan, perticularly, but I'll have take that tune to my grave.

I've got two; both from cartoons. The first is a short theme, but I've yet to automatically NOT headbang to this song everytime I hear it.

<youtube=SJoIwGeKs3A>
Incidentally, this is the one of the best Disney Channel animated intros of all time.

The second is actually two film scores back to back. They're currently on my list of favorite film scores of all time, and two of the most motivational pieces I've ever heard.

And finally, a little bonus. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n6jCJZEFIto]

Whenever I pause a song before it's done I'll end up thinking about it the rest of the day. One song that never seems to leave though is Sodom's Feigned Death Throes. It's not a favorite song of mine or anything, but sometimes I find myself singing it right out of nowhere. Not sure why... Been bothering me for way over a year by now.

It's phonetic singing by the way. I can hardly make out any of the lyrics.
