The title pretty much sums it up, what kicks the bass, unleashes the sounds in your house?
And how loud do you listen to your records?

For me it would pretty much be this
The volume usually stays around 3-6, and plays all day long, I wake up, the beat will start pumping, i hit the bed and the music stops, every single day. Just sets the mood for doing anything.
I listen to one radio channel which plays all kinds of hits.

And if i want something specific, or to listen to some music at nights i use these.

So, sharing is caring, let us share.

Music-Most kinds really, but mostly classic rock.

Sound System- Usually an iPod Touch because I'm paranoid of the thought that other people know what I listen to because they'll think that my taste in music is stupid and judge that I'm less of a person (I never claimed to be the sanest person alive)

Volume- 11

Also, judging by your avatar, OP, I don't think that you know how toilet paper works...

My iPod and one of those iHome things that charges it to play my music... My computer has Bose speakers... I don't know what kind.

I love them so much.

And I don't listen to music extremely loud unless it's something that everyone wants to hear. Or unless it's raggacore. Unfortunately everyone in my house hates my music no matter what I listen to.

Music: A weird, eclectic mix of genres. Just no depressing country or cutesy pop.

Sound System: Turtle Beach Earforce HPA2 5.1 Surround Sound Headset [http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826502011]

Volume: Whatever shuts out the outside world.

Music: A mix between Rock/Pop/Rap/Hip Hop/House or Dance or whatever you call it.

I either listen on my computers Logitech sound system (2 speaker, 1 bass) which i don't know the model name of. Or my mp3's Sennheiser In-Ear plugs which i also can't be arsed to check the model name for.

Yamaha DSPAX759 amp, Technics SL-PG590 CD Player, Technics SL-BD2 Turntable, TDL floorstanders, Aiwa sub, Genexxa surrounds, Mission centre. Wired by Monster, Phoenix Gold and Cambridge Audio.

My musical style is varied to say the least. Everthing from Pink Floyd and Emmerson Lake and Palmer right through to hard drum & Bass. But I rarely listen to any kind of metal.

Volume in the house hovers around 5, louder if I close the windows.

Volume in the car usually hovers around 120dB as It's pushing out near as dammit to 1000w RMS at 4ohms!!

Usually either my Ipod Nano, or Itunes on my PC, hooked up to 2 fuck off speakers and a control unit hub thing.... gets very loud very quickly, usually limit it to 3 otherwise I get complaints from neighbours.
Music genre mostly metal, bit of Devildriver never fails to get the pulse racing in the morning.

My music: Rock/Alternative Mostly.
My sound system is just my iphone or music I have on my laptop.
My volume is usually whatever the middle level is, for example, on my laptop it is usually in the 40-50 volume range(out of 100).

The only music that matters is metal and you all fucking know it.
At work I use headphones and at home it's some cheap Creative-system connected to the PC.
I keep my volume at speaking level or just above regardless of what system I listen to.

Speakers currently are my computer speakers which are $200 Logitechs with a sub-woofer. They have a good frequency response and go pretty loud. My music is usually metal of various kinds.

Fun thing I do: Get FLAC versions of complex progressive metal songs and play them as loud as my speakers will go without distorting.

I'd like to get some studio monitors and set up a 5.1 surround as well.

Logitech G35 (The drivers fucking hate me though D: )
It's a pretty good 7.1 audio headset. Logitech's drivers always have some sort of fucking holy war against me, though.

Right now they're at a not all that loud, 22% volume according to Windows' volume bar. And it's usually like that.

I don't usually listen to music in the house. It's the car for me, and my ideal setup is the one that came stock with my car - the 10 Speaker Bose setup in my Mazdaspeed 3. Absolutely pumps!

Oh yeah! Music in the car is just double the fun, it sometimes makes you break the law by speeding, and endanger everyone, including yourself..oh well *Runs off to drive away with some music in the background*
