do any of you genuinely enjoy a hobby that most guys or girls would consider a pensioners passtime?

reason this came into my head is because some of my mates sometimes call me "gramps" as a joke because of some of the hobbies i spend hours on LOL

mine are

origami
knitting (yes, knitting rox!!)
tailoring/sewing (sometimes i make extra pockets or secret compartments in my clothes for fun when i'm not trying to fashin a pair of trousers or a shirt that i won't be ashamed to wear in public lol .. so far i have about 6 or so)
calligraphy

haha more than once i've repaired my friends clothing XD

any of you guys have any??

Golfing is usually considered an "Old Person's" sport. I play that.

Reminiscing about the good old days... Yep, life was so much better 10 years ago. We had real shows on the TV, not the drivel the young'uns are watching today.

Complaining at younger people, yelling for people to get out of my garden, and crosswords - lots and lots of crosswords

I knit, crochet and sew. Very badly. But yeah, it's quite relaxing to sit on the train, or in front of the television, and just work away at it. I don't consider it a hobby for old people, though. I also shred t-shirts in the same way. I'm not sure my grandmother would ever do something like that, and then wear it.

But oh, I play lawn bowls occasionally. We have a club really close to our house. And of course, I complain about the youth today.

Listening to classical and jazz music sitting on a leather armchair in front of the fire reading fiction. And telling people only two years younger than me to take off their shoes as they come into the house- and keep their mouths shut!
