So, I have this problem with games, in that I find myself saying "I'm just going to go on (insert game) and just spend half an hour on it." This got me thinking, what are everyone's favourite boromir based meme moments in gaming? Heres my recent ones.

"One does not simply complete just one mission in Final fantasy crisis core" (I spent half an hour doing side missions)

"One does not simply leave a chest unopened" (I repeated missions on crisis core if I realised i hadn't opened a chest. I want teh Lootz!)

CAPTCHA: Pandora's box. Not a bad club in Nottingham, perhaps a bit too indy for my tastes. All about Ocean.

For me it's that I can't leave any side quests behind. I've played almost 10 hours of Witcher 2, and I have yet to leave the first town because of the side-quests.

I have yet to try out Dragon Age: Origins. I dread the moment I start the game.

One does not simply ignore alternate paths.
One does not simply use healing items that they've been hoarding "just in case".
One does not simply savescum their way to victory.
One does not simply bunnyhop down the corridor.
One does not simply run out of fictional currency.

Also to refer to a different meme...
Hit head of man with bullets few seconds.

One does not simply facecheck a bush when there's a Garen on the other team. Get Demacia'd *****!

Seriously though, full team bush camping is an OP tactic lategame if they have no wards.

One does not simply think you've won a match of Marvel 3 if they have ANY X-Factor left. Especially when they have bar and a character that can instakill someone in one combo with lvl 3 X-Factor. Dante with his lvl 3 for example.

One does not simply just play Makoto, every game is Makoto appreciation hour. Her stage and music is AWESOME.

"Dispatched in mankind's darkest hour...Hmm *mumble* *mumble* Oh forget it!"

"MAKOTO! I told you to practise that until you get it right!"

One does not simply beat the Four Kings.
One does not simply obtain the Aghaim's Scepter and Refresher Orb.
One does not simply beat Brood Mother.
One does not simply attempt to run through the Labyrinth using a pistol.
One does not simply spam fireballs to defeat a butterfly.
One does not simply NOT get hit in a wooden tank.
One does not simply fight a woman who can light your ass on fire and juggle you around like a ragdoll while you attempt to attack with an electric katana.

I'm feeling nice, so cookies to people who can guess the games that I'm playing. :p

EDIT- Here's what they are, for the people who've already guessed, in order.

-Dark Souls
-
-DOTA 2
-
-
-Assassins Creed Brotherhood
-

Four to go.

"One does not simply stop collecting Familiars in Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch".

Seriously, even when my team is perfectly fine as it is, I keep collecting more, even though I know it'll take a bit of time to grind the new ones I like up to a decent level. All of that time adds up, but damn it, I can't just find a chicken with a sword-mohawk, a unicorn-sheep-dinosaur, or a purple trumpet-duck, and then just not catch it. That would be madness.

Well, that one's Dragon Age: Origins. That was a hell of a long boss fight. The best way for me was to just gradually whittle down its health with arrows and magic from too far away for it to get me with its tentacles; if I tried to fight it in melee it killed my guys in seconds.

In a similar vein: one does not simply get through Orzammar in a reasonable amount of time.

One does not simply play 'just a few minutes' in minecraft/terraria.
One does not simply play one match of LoL.
One (of the other team) does not simply tower dive when I play fiddlesticks jungle.
One does not simply catch that one pokemon you really want to get.
One does not simply quickly do a dungeon run in GW2.
One does not simply sell/medi-gel more useful but unused items in ME1.

No, actually. I've never played Dragon Age Origins. Is it any good?

One does not simply head straight to the storyline mission without getting sidetracked in sandbox games.

One does not simply leave his LMG unreloaded after firing only one round.

One does not simply complete Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn without a walkthrough.
