My feelings exactly. Sure, still being able to get new Zelda, Mario, Metroid, Smash Bros. would be nice, but knowing that the people who make games their main priority to get out of the console business would feel awful.Exius Xavarus said:I would be upset. It would speak poorly of the gaming industry if the one and only company dedicated to gaming, could not continue making home consoles. While other companies who simply have gaming as a part of them, continue to make consoles.
Also the rift on it's own is a gimmick, not every single person on the planet likes the rift and won't ever, not every game should ever need the rift and while some games will it makes the device a gimmick of it's own.the hidden eagle said:When you say you don't want to buy a Nintendo console just for their games do you include Sony and Microsoft as well?Because I find it confusing how people use that arguement to justify wanting Nintendo to get rid of their exclusives when Microsoft and Sony do the same thing in regards to enticing people to buy their consoles.cloroxbb said:As long as all the games came out on the PC, then I wouldnt care at all. If Nintendo needs to have a hardware gimmick with all of their games, then just ship the hardware with the game.
I really dont enjoy having to buy a console just to play Nintendo games. I just think their developers could do SO much more with the power of current technology. A hardware gimmick really isnt NEEDED IMO, and it doesnt make the games any different than could be had with a normal controller and a screen. The Extra screen of the Wii U gamepad is nice, especially for games like Zelda, but really not needed for games that dont really need a bunch of menus.
Also, I want some Oculus Rift Nintendo games, but that will never happen![]()
