I assumed this went here, and apparently this is search bar approved, but What is your overall rig look like?

Mine is a shitty comp that looks very shiny (Pretty much a Mac but better in the way that it is a PC hur dur I clever) and a Flatscreen 32'inch and an Xbox Arcade. All on one small desk, and the unoffical (I.E. I need to plug them in)consoles under the desk. 64,PS1,Xbox,PS2,Gamecube,NES,and a *Shudder* Virtual Boy.

Mine's a desktop that looks like a Truck. It has a transparent side panel so I can look at the insides of my little baby, and blue lights all over it. 25' Monitor.

Consoles are around and about. GCN, PS2, PS1, PS3, N64, SNES.

I own all 3 current-gen consoles and they're hooked into my 40 inch 1080p Bravia, along with my PC, which has a Core2Duo E8400, 4 gig of ram, a GTX 470 and six (yes, six) hard drives. I love my ghetto PC, ancient processor, too little RAM, and a fairly kickass graphics card. Runs everything I've thrown at it quite well, usually maxed out in 1080p.

Currently not hooked up is every Nintendo console going back to the NES, a Genesis, a PSX and a slim PS2, an Xbox, a Dreamcast (which sucks, by the way, I have no idea why the internet thinks it's great) an Atari 2600, two Atari 800s and on the handheld front a Mario DS Lite and a launch day PSP. I had a Virtual Boy but I had it with me in college and someone broke into my dorm and stole it and all my games (including Jack Bros.), but strangely not anything else.

I have too many things to play games on. It's sad, really.

Behringer cab with 4 10 inch....... oh wait, you mean computer....

My PC sux.... I can barely run STALKER on low settings : (
A good deal of that's STALKER's fault. It's really poorly optimized and doesn't run all that great on anything.

A 17.3 inch Gateway laptop with an i3 processor, 4 GB of RAM, a 500GB hard drive, and really shitty 128 MB integrated graphics chip (damn you Intel!).

On the desk perpendicular to me lies a 32" 1080p Samsung LCD TV which is connected to my only console, a beloved 360 Elite (The poor thing barely gets played anymore thanks to Aion).

Excellent, a place to boast.

i7 930, Gigabyte Radeon 5870 SOC, 6gb Ram, OC'ed to 3.6ghz. Oh yes. Getting an SSD and (perhaps) another 5870 if I feel particularly rich on the day.

Oh and my trusty PS3.

I love threads like this one. :D

Desktop:
Case - Coolermaster HAF 932
Power Supply - Corsair 1000HX (1KW)
MOBO - Asus P6t SE
CPU - Intel i7 920 @ 4.0ghz (OC)
Heatsink - Thermalright TRUE Black (lapped for better contact with CPU)
RAM - Corsair Dominator GT DDR3 1600 (OC)
GPU - Radeon 5970
Hard drives - 1x GSkill 60 GB Solid State Drive + 2x Western Digital 7200 RPM 1TB drives (RAID 1)
2x random DVD-RW drives I had laying around. I don't even remember what brand they are they're so old. Like, IDE cables and master/slave jumpers sort of old.
Operating System - Windows 7 64-bit
Mouse - SteelSeries Ikari
Keyboard - Unicomp Customizer 101
Headset - Roccat Kave
HOTAS - Saitek X52 + Pro Flight Rudder Pedals
Misc - TrackIR

Console Center:
40" Samsung HDTV (don't remember what model)
Sony 5.1 Surround Sound (don't recall what model. It's got a receiver with a built dvd player)
XBOX 360
Playstation 2
Playstation 3
Wii Black (Homebrew Channel :D)
Old PC that functions as an emulator box.

As far as what my gaming command center roughly looks like:
It's an older picture, but the layout is the same. Under my desk in that pic is my old computer before I got my current rig and that keyboard got switched for a Unicomp. Also missing is my Wii Black from my console center. And no, that is not a PS 3 keyboard and mouse on my coffee table. Those are for my emulator box.

I really wish I could rip those shit carpets out and do some other changes, but my landlord might get a bit bitchy if I went to town on it :(. I really can't wait to move out.

To be honest my 'rig' is now this laptop, I don't do much pc gaming as I find it far to expensive to buy an awesome computer. Though this conversation did remind of an old escapist video: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/de-rez/73-Clan-Excelsior

I really miss de-rez, was a good show.

My jealously flows in unsurmountable amounts. I dream of such a pad one day...

Except the carpets, seriously, did the room used to be a dog pound?

I like to think of my entire desk area as my rig.

Edited for layout:
My entertainment rig, 5.1 surround sound,
Home made desktop PC (cooler master Cosmos case, water cooled, dual ATI HD 4870 X2s, quad core Q9650 or some such, corsair dominator 8gb RAM) it's about 2 / 3 years old now I guess but it's overclocked and hasn't fallen over at any games yet so not worth replacing,
2 * Samsung 22" LCD monitors,
2* 1tb external harddrives,
1 Dell laptop (got a huge discount through work which made it the best choice it's a nice laptop I7 CPU, ATI graphics card, 4gb RAM, 500gb HDD... can play WoW on decent settings without too much lag) have a TV adapter in it for TV,
saitek eclipse keyboard,
Logitech G9 or some such laser mouse,
Sony 370 bluray player,
Xbox 360,
Sennheiser wireless headphones.

Hell if I know, probably. Very few people bother to take care of their place here in Alaska. Every time I move, there's always fucked up things to get done. Case in point, when I move again, I'm going to have to replace the baseboard heaters in my GF's place just because it looks like the prior owners took a hammer to them and the condo maintenance guys won't replace them because it's "just cosmetic." Never mind the fact that one of them has exposed wiring hanging out that poses a shock hazard. Her carpets aren't much better, but she actually owns the place (just bought it a few months ago before we met) so we'll at least be able to do something about it.

My place looks better than it used to, but there's no way it'll actually look good without ripping a bunch of shit out, and that just isn't worth my time. Not for a place I'm just temporarily renting.
