Now that Skyrim has been out for a few days, how about we talk about your characters, skills and equipment?

I'm currently playing as a dark elf who specialises in destruction magic, archery and one handed weapons. Although I am making a Khajiit as we speak who's coming to be a theify, illusionist.

So Escapist, who are you in Skyrim? What do and how?

My guy is Argonian with theif skills.
Archer, Sneak, Light armor, lockpicking (mid 30~40's) pick pocketing almost 100.

Since I'm like level 25 because of picking pockets mostly, my enemies are tough as beans. I had to steal the bosses weapon to beat him. What sucks, it's considered a "stolen" item now versus killing him and earning it. But dying in two shots from him was nonsense!

I've yet to see a dragon, but I guess I should do the first quest.

I'm an Argonian that specializes in one handed weapons, blocking, heavy armor, and destruction.

I've recently picked up some Dwarven armor, so hopefully those encounters with those pesky bears will go a bit more smoothly.

And holy crap, lots of Argonian love so far. Funny thing, I have yet to meet another Argonian in Skyrim. (Besides the occasional bandit) Which makes sense I guess, as it is a Nord region.

A Breton Spellsword. I'm specialising in light armour, destruction, conjuration and one-handed weapons. I'm pretty proficient with all schools of magic but destruction and conjuration are the two that I find myself using the most. I've always been really good at lockpicking regardless of my lockpick stats so I don't count that as a specialisation. I also occasionally bring out my bow of burning embers for stealth purposes...I soon get bored though and run in with fire spewing from one hand and very sharp sword in the other. Good times.

Recently just fought my first dragon and - to be honest - was a little disappointed at the lack of difficulty. I did, however, run into a Wispmother. Those are harsh fuckers, I tell you. If I see one, I run the fuck away. Not that it does much good... = [

Also, I tried killing a mammoth.... Worst. Idea. Ever.

Early on in the main quest, you'll be able to fight one, and I guess that will trigger random dragon encounters for the rest of the game.

Breton Mage, at first I felt like being a bit all-rounded with him by practicing smithing but, for the sake of immersion, I only do Alchemy, Enchanting and Destruction for the most part. Resorption kicks in occasionally for healing.

LVL 18 Kahjiit thief. Pretty balanced so far with 40-ish one-handed, archery, lockpicking, pickpocketing, 32 light armor and 62 sneak. Still have 3-4 perk points in reserve, haven't decided on what to spend them. Barely touched main quest and thieves guild, just exploring and doing misc stuff.

I'm a weird combination. A Breton tank/assassin/battlemage. I've got heavy armor, high destruction, illusion and restoration, and high sneak. I can never decide which to do, so I did them all.

Level 19 Argonian...Hunter I think is how best to describe it: Light armour, archery and one handed weapons. I stay the buck away from magic just like I did in Oblivion its too overpowered and makes the game too easy.

Level 18 Nord Stormcloak warrior. Down with the empire!

Specializations:
1 handed melee
Shield
Smithing
Heavy Armor

All of my perks have went in those 5 categories except 2 that went into speech for better barter prices. As well, I put a perk point in sneak.

Level 28 wood elf dickhead.

He likes to help people to acquire valuable artefacts only to steal them back out of malice. He refuses any quest that might involve making someone happier, preferring to take all their money when they're not looking. If someone annoys him, he has a tendency to find them in their sleep and put knives in them.

He also refuses to use magic in any way, except through potions and skill enhancement enchantments.

Imperial, skilled in one-handed, bow, destruction, lockpick, and stealth. Not sure what level I am, I think around 11.

Right now I usually start with a firebow and close in with sword and shield or sword and flame spell.
