I've been on this science binge of late... Good ole' discovery. I came across this program they have about attraction. I didn't realize how varied smells could be from person to person. I mean besides the obvious BO, Cologne/Perfume, and fabric softener/detergent smell... that there is that unique smell for everyone; I had always suspected but never really knew...

Too make this shorter, I'll get to the point: I asked the GF what I smelled like,(excluding cologne) she said "Kind of Pine treeish" ??? lol

So anyone else heard about their "Smell"?

I don't let most people touch me because I hate other's scent on me.
I could flood the room with Bath and Body works products without much of a care, but sometimes I can even smell people's emotions.
Angst is especially repulsive and never gets out of fabrics...
Also, chicks smell differently on their period. I hate using public restrooms because I have to think about all the blood that's inevitably wound up on every surface in the room at some point...

Really, though, I don't like my usual smell, but I love the scent on my clothes after a happy family vacation. People smells don't really have a scent, like the difference between honeysuckle and rose; we're programmed to react positively or negatively to people who would more likely be adequate mates. Family members also typically smell pleasant, but that is derived from our being social creatures.

No one's ever told me about my smell, but I do notice other people's smells.
I can't exactly place what the smells are like, but I store it in my memory as "The smell that smells like that smelly guy" or something along those lines.

Yeah, the show had a whole segment on the female scent perception; during their period women actually found the scent of males enticing, while regardless of period or not; family members were not that pleasant (Not including the pleasure of a "familiar" scent, which is ingrained in the mind as a child)

You can't really smell your own scent. Usually, I would ask someone close to you or maybe a family member. After that show, I could smell the diff between my pop's sweat and my best friend's sweat (He like a brother, been around him forever)

Everyone keeps telling me that I smell like my house. However true that might be, they never elaborate and it annoys me greatly. I'm still not sure whether or not I smell good or bad.

Ive been told i smell like Burberry Touch, which is my fav cologne...and thats just fine with me.
People have asked me on several occasions what kind of cologne I wear, to which I have to tell them that I've never worn cologne in my life. Leaves 'em kinda stumped as to why I smell the way I do. Then again, I don't know, either.

Oh, I can smell my own angst. Not actively, but I can smell it on things. I hate the smell, but as I said, it never comes out.

I do sometimes notice other peoples scents. They usually don't smell all that bad, but for some reason I find them all completely repulsive.

I have absolutely no clue what my smell is. More than likely something disgusting, judging by my weight and tendancy to be ill.

I have no idea, I get rather disturbed when people I'm not trying to get in their bed, come upto me and sniff me.

I just got told I smell of Leather, not surprising considering I dress partly in it for most of my day. She smells a bit like honey gone bad. I'm off for a day of sniffing people now. To the bus

I've never been told what I smell like. Neither have I told anyone what they smell like.

That said, when I was younger, about 10 or so, I kept wondering why people smelled differently. I could immidiately tell who belonged to what family even if I had never seen the person before. In restrospect, that was quite strange.

I don't do that anymore, and I don't notice the smell of people if I'm not thinking about it. Or if they smell of so much cologne/perfume that their neighbours dog fainted.
