Your social life...

When you're not on the escapist, internet, playing games, work/school; what do you do?

Do you go out, or would you much rather stay in and keep yourself to yourself?


I love going out on the weekends to gigs or the pub for drinks with friends, but sone weekends I just think "I cannot be arsed" and would much rather stay in all weekend doing nothing but play games or sit on the laptop and generally slob out with TV and crap food.

I Go out. I love live music and go to gigs pretty often. I also like the opposite to the adrenaline of that and chill out pretty frequently down the pub with friends. I try not to just sit about the house and read or watch TV, however tempting it is.

Work and school are pretty much the only thing I have time for, but my friends do come visit me at night so I don't have go out and plan other shit. It's nice of them, considering I lived 25-45 minutes away from them.

Looking back, I think I... used to have one too.

Perhaps it was something I said that made my life bite the dust.

Or maybe it is because I am an annoying... turd.

I don't have much of a social life. I work a lot, so my spare time is spent doing all the other "grown-up" things like laundry, cleaning, running errands, etc. I do go and hang out with friends on occasion, but it's only a few times a month at most. It doesn't help that all but one of my friends live in other cities/towns, and my car doesn't like road trips.

For the most part, when I'm not doing dishes or sorting out towels from socks, I'm playing video games. It's easier to just stay at home and do something entertaining - I almost always have something chore-related going on in the meantime.

Since my most of my friends left for University, my social life has pretty much ended. Occasionally go to the pub with the few who aren't but its not the same without everyone else.

I like to go out, but I also need alone time.
I usually go out on weekends, but stay in on weekdays. I love to game, read and browse the interwebs, and I get very annoyed if I don't get to do this for long periods of time.
I have about 10 best friends, and I go to parties or just chill out on weekends.

You've just made me think. As much as I do go out when I have the money and whatever, since becoming an adult and doing jobs and all that, my social life has dramatically gone down hill. It still exists, but nothing like it ever was

I ain't got much of a social life, it's limited to only a few people, but I'm happy with it. I usually meet up with them on weekends in bars or pubs, and talk to them occasionally during the week. I'm an introverted person, so I much perfer being on my own playing games most of the time, and only going out with friends once or twice a week.

Uhm... I don't "go out" as in partying, unless it's a party at the school. They are fun.

I guess I just keep to myself mostly Sometimes I visit friends or my parents...

i don't go out very much, don't know anyone round here. sometimes go out with some of the people from work. got friends around the place i visit but that tends to be once every few months.

It's virtually non-existent. Don't get me wrong, I have quite a few friends, and I can't think of anyone who truly hates me, I am just too lazy/ poor to go out. Also, school does take up quite a lot of my life any way, and I am happy with that.

I just enjoy playing games with my friends online, although many of them I am actually yet to meet.

I guess when (/ if) I go to university, it will be virtually demanded of me to have a social life, so my time will come.

I usually tend to stay inside, playing games or talking to a few friends over MSN or Playstation Network and the like. I'm quite an introverted person, and don't like crowds (I get really panicky in them) so I don't go out to any parties or anything.
I do like speaking to people, and have a few close friends who I occasionally do to, and when I do I apparently cheer them up alot.

I have a strange social life with people who are all over the spectrum (from stereotypical nerds to drug addicts, from homosexuals to homophobes) with whom I spend my time. I DD a lot because my alcoholic tolerance is way too fucking high and, usually, by the time I'm having fun, everyone is down for the count.

I can go either way: go to a party, get people loaded, play with fire, hang out with a few friends, etc. Or I can casually sit at home, read a book, work out, shoutcast, go a pub, whatever.

I go to a friends house or they come to mine most weekends, go to movies with them, and when I'm invited I go to a gig or party. However the latter doesn't happen often, keep saying they want to see me drunk but forget when it comes down to it, oh well.
