Portal is interesting and funny at the same time, but I think the best quality about it is it delivered what it promised plus wit. How many games don't ridiculously overhype things these days? This game promised interesting portal puzzles, and we got that, plus a unique take on how artificial intelligence can go completely insane.

Portal 2 has introduced several new puzzle elements plus a co-op mode with a unique set of puzzles that you can ONLY do in co-op mode. So now I can team up with a buddy and put ourselves through a friendship test that only valve could craft. And the single player? Not only does it promise to keep the wit, but also a much longer length and new, more interesting puzzles, all with the same difficulty curve and masterfully crafted tutorial. So it is a little more hyped, but that's just because the first game was so good. And hey, it didn't promise deep gameplay it won't be able to deliver (looks at a game that did that).

I enjoyed portal a lot, play it again every now and then... all in all a fun, short and humorous game.

My hopes for portal 2 are high, and i REALLY can't wait till it's released. Me and my friend will be playing co-op as soon as we both get it =D

Portal was brilliant. I probably won't play Portal 2, but only because I'm on a terrible internet connection and don't really use Steam.

This Taffers hopes for Portal 2 revolve around the excellent voice over quality of Wheatley and the promise of hours of hilarity had in the Co-Op campaign.

Man. I'm way too easily pleased.

Im not sure if the box art is much to go buy But I do hope the main story gets justice/some sort of conclusion

(and anyone who says there isn't a story...well I dont know if anyone does but I will punch them in the face)

assuming youre a PC gamer,Im pretty sure they are releasing it retail as well, its such a well known title by now plus it seems to be on all the consoles as well

buying games that run with steam retail only requires a little updating (like 250mb I think) when they are new, on the oher hand left 4 dead still needs 1.9gb before I can play, thats just because I have extremly low data limits

Portal was okay, but overhyped to shit if you didn't play at release. None of the jokes should have been repeated as much as they were. If Portal 2 makes any more than a passing reference to the cake being a lie, it will have failed as a comedic game for me. I am so fucking tired of that.

I don't need any more puzzles and probably won't buy it. I'll play it a friend's and think it's okay, but that's the most I see myself doing.

I'm definitely going to play Portal 2 because I know Valve's track record at making high-quality games, and the fact that I loved the first game.

I just hope GLaDOS ran out of cake by now, I'm sick of the "cake is a lie" jokes.
