YOUR zombie apocalypse survival plan

Last night I lost power and, jokingly, my roommates started yelling "ZOMBIES". Eventually this led to a discussion about what we do for the zombie apocalypse.

Our plan is to fight our way out using knives/poolsticks/whatever we can get and jump in our trucks/SUVs (leaving the two cars behind) and going to my parent's farm. Being rednecks, one of my roommates and myself have enough firepower to put the marines to shame so we figure that would be the best place to go. Additionally, we raise black angus beef so, assuming the cause of the zombies targets humans only, we would have sustenance.

So what are your plans because we all know it will happen eventually!

P.S. I'm sure this has been done before but I didn't see anything on the first two pages and didn't want to Necro an old one.

Go to Israel while hearing about people acting strange, I find it hard to believe everyone becomes zombies in a flash barr 4 people, so i'm sure cases will be showing up. Why Israel you ask? Well I was told that every male there has had army training at one point in his life, so it may be safer.

Europe is fucked, not many guns around here. I still have a big axe to help myself.
Probably plan would be like -
- Get an axe
- get into the car, find a police station and get guns
- get away from the city - big city=lots of zombies, also try to grow something, get chickens etc.

Hell i'd like to live in USA and just have a gun in my house.

Anyway, the point is to get the hell away from zombies. Not very heroic but probably would get me through.

I'll be in the government safety bunker with all the other experts on hominid mutating pathogens. We will be working alongside biologists and psychologists studying the effects of our work after it's release in general population.

Steal the brains of every human on the planet, then fire them into the sun. That way, the living dead are without their primary food source and will starve to death.

Of course, one would ask, if I had the awesome technological advances in rocket science and brain surgery required to pull off such a miracle of Science, why couldn't I just cure the zombie plague or fire the zombies into the sun?

To those people, I say this: Don't be ridiculous. There's no such thing as zombies.
