Well, I was recording some TF2 footage tonight when I managed to catch a huge fail in it. I, along with a teammate, caught a guy in a combo taunt kill, a taunt kill being the most humiliating fail in TF2. Here's a link to the video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ag6QZg7Stlc

Please watch it, I'd really appreciate it if everyone would.

Anyway, that hilarious moment got me thinking. What is my biggest fail in a game? I'd have to say that my biggest fail would have to be in Golden Sun: The Lost Age. I'm fighting Dullahan, one of the hardest bosses in recent video game history, and I have been doing this for about two hours. I manage to whittle him down and I'm just about to kill him. I go to select my final attack. I hit a weaker attack, thinking he's weakened and wanting to save on psyenergy. He takes it, then proceeds to KO my whole party. I spent two hour fighting this guy, and I lose in the end because I was being stingy!!!!!!!!

Argh, rage without end. So, fellow escapists, please let me know about your greatest fails. I'd love to hear about them, and don't forget to watch my video, to chuckle at that guy's greatest fail.

P.S. A correction, My video is a fail because Taunt Kills are Loud, slow, and are insta-kills. Being hit by one indicates one of three things: 1) You're a noob, 2) You're not paying attention, or 3) You are poor at the game. Think of it like you're playing left 4 dead and you get downed by a tank punch that you somehow didn't see coming.

My worst fail was when I was a very little kid playing Final Fantasy VII for the first time. I got stuck between Sector 5 and Wall Market because I couldn't tell that that flat amorphous bar on the screen was something Cloud was supposed to be able to walk on. I got lost there long enough for my character to hit something like level 17.

THE AMAZING GRAPHICS OF FINAL FANTASY SEVEN!

Most of my fails involve grenades of one kind or another. Being flashbanged by my own team mates in SWAT4, having them bounce off something and coming straight back at me, or dropping them on the window sill instead of throwing them out the window in Rainbow 6.

Noticeable in that there's a brief period in which you realise what is going to happen, but can't do anything about it and just have to stand their stupidly, waiting to die.

well, Final Fantasy certainly wasn't known for it's great graphics, but hey, that's definitely a fail. I remember I did something similar to that when I was younger in Mario 64. I ran up the endless stairs for like 4 minutes before realizing something wasn't right here. *Facepalm*

I was exactly the same way. I wasn't a very good player as a kid, so I kept thinking, why are all those other planets there? Are they just decoration? Man, I was a stupid, stupid child.

Okay, I don't get how its a fail but that's probably cause I don't play TF2. And mine would be, Blowing myself up in Nazi zombies. I was trying to make a crawler. And held the grenade button for too long. You can most likely guess what happened next.

first time I played fatal frame. Real early in the game - second hostile ghost iirc - I ran out of the room, down the hall, aimed the camera toward the doorway, and then got attacked from the side because it went through the wall. Palm hit my face pretty fast there as I realized these were ghosts I was dealing with...

Probably some massive fail-streaks on Mirror's Edge. I've also Flared and EMP'd my entire team on Shattered Horizon (Luckily, offline Single Player mode only).

Back a long time ago, I made a custom map for Heroes of Might and Magic II. I planned to give myself a better army and the other NPC Hero a worse one for the joy of Curb Stomping An Enemy Into The Dust with 9999 Black Dragons.

As it turned out, I'd forgotten to set hero allegiances correctly. So, in the doorway of my almost entirely undefended, unupgraded castle, I put an enemy hero with an army of 9999 Black Dragons.

And since that day, I have never abused level editors again.

Rome Total War: I lost a battle by killing more of my own troops than the enemy with friendly fire. I really should have been paying better attention.

I remember fondly a game of Battlefield: Bad Company rush I had once where I sniped my friend, so he repaid the favour. He kept camping in the same area, so I fired an AT at him at long range and killed him with a direct hi;, despite the fact it was flying straight at him, he didn't notice. Ah tunnel vision...

Hmm, some recent stuffs perhaps.

Not that long ago I was playing Reach MM, and some guy managed to get me to hijack his ghost such that he landed in safety and I flew, in the vehicle formerly his, off a cliff.

This, which I wound up creating while making a Halo tricking video (in this case, a simple introductory clip to the idea of the video), also deserves mention:

Just recently in Halo: Reach multiplayer, I was playing a 4v4 Team Slayer on Atom. During a small exchange between myself and another player, we both reloaded at the same time but we were not within melee range of each other. I figured he was low on health so I chucked a greande. He was so low on health that when the grenade smacked him in the head, he died. Which, would've been great for me if not for two factors:

One, the grenade did not explode when it hit him and...

Two, when the grenade bounced, it bounced back at me and the explosion was just in range enough to finish me off. *facepalm*

That's nothing, I was once trying to get full police wanted level in San Andreas (no cheats) and I actually held out for almost an hour but just as I had dispatched the last of a new wave of cops a plane (WTF) crashes on the intersection I was making my last stand on, but that's not even the best (Read:Worst) part. You see, the plane didn't kill me, but it did make a big enough bang to make me fly a bit, so I crash on the tarmac several feet away when before I can get up an elderly couple in a golf cart run me over and kill me. I tink I actually had to cry that time.

Haha, I suck more at more at videogames then you.
Ps. Excuse my bad English, I am not a native speaker.

Mine was a Spaceport run on Bulletstorm. Made some minor mistakes throughout the start but when I got to the first miniboss I completely screwed it and lost over a thousand points and wasted time.

I got it on vid but I don't want to post it as it still makes me sad lol. At that time it was the best score in the world. People have since used my strategy and made less mistakes.

A friend and I tried to obtain the scarab gun in Halo 2. When we finally managed to stop killing each other for the privilege to drive the tank we embarked on our "quest". When we finally stopped running each over with aforementioned tank we once again set out. Upon finally obtaining the blasted thing... we started to kill each other over who would be the one to wield it. Finally my friend was crowned the victor and started to fire the weapon continuously, leaving nothing left standing in his wake. When he finally stopped firing, because a box came out from nowhere and smashed him to bits.
