The life of a villain sucks and guess what, you get to experience it.

You've sent who knows how many amounts of henchmen and monster spawns you created after the protagonist but they've all been killed and how the protagonist is on the final level coming after you for doing something mean to them in the past, what you did is wholly dependant on which game you happen to be in, anyway, the protagonist seems to have the ability to turn back time through saving and loading, has regenerative health and has an entire arsenal of powers / ammo / weaponry to kick your ass.

What do you do?

EDIT: I'm suprised no one has mentioned glitching the last level to hell = Falling into infinite, constant freezing, stats going haywire etc etc, no gamer will want to continue with such a buggy game just when things were getting good = you survive....at least until your world gets patched, to which you can re-glitchify it.

Practice my "purple tentacle attack"- it kills in one hit but can be easily dodged and stuns me for a couple of seconds.

Im bound to win!

EDIT= or make sure the game is Demon's Souls, hoping that the guy will fail enough times so he breaks the controller in rage.

Well, I'd be the antagonist in super meat boy, if he has reached the final level, at least I know I've taken his sanity.

Make sure to annihilate him/her while they are in that annoying flashback instance that seems to grant them superpowers from sheer willpower so I don't have to deal with them after wards.

..And then teabag them if that actually works, for further humiliation!

Pretend the villain just left and I'm a just an innocent girl that he happened to capture and use as his front. I'm pretty manipulative and sneaky but people underestimate me because I'm chubby and make stupid jokes. Especially alpha male types.

He would be so sad standing there thinking that bad man had gotten away again MUAHAHAHAHAHA. (note to self...avoid using evil laugh until he has gone)

Alternatively distract him with my pretty sister and hit him on the head with a vase.

I would escape through the back of the TV and blend inconspicuously into real life...

...

...

... It IS possible!

Hack his files and delete them, then hack the code and delete the save function. Then, when he comes in,I'll be ready with a copy of his stuff,so we fight on even grounds!

I know how to win. All I need to do is place the item you need to progress in the first dungeon behind a door that requires said item to open it.
I.E. you need the to activate the door to get the bow and arrow, with a bow and arrow.
now impossible to progress. Hero Starves to death since they can't escape first dungeon.

Reveal that I'm actually a good guy and there is an even greater threat to the universe that I can no longer deal with, because he's killed all of my minions. So, I send him on his way to go fight aliens or whatever.

That shit always works.

As long as I follow these [http://www.proft.org/tips/evil.html] steps I would be a great Antagonist.

Very simple. Be the Witcher 2 on nightmare difficulty. That way if he ever dies he can't load the game :)

Run in the other fucking direction.

Although here are some other guidelines on being a villain:

Hopefully I'd be the bad guy from super meat boy (or some similar game), that way the player's far more likely to throw their computer/tv out the window LONG before they ever get to me.

Tear open a portal in time and cast him into the future.

That way I have pleanty of time to create the second game.

I'd patiently wait for him to come, then I'd start to give a lengthy speech about how he can never defeat me, complete with some drivel about fate and some jokes at his expense. After that, we'd fight a little bit. All of that should keep him distracted long enough to put my secret escape plan into action, so that I can escape, gloriously taunting him, just before he beats me.
Then I'd return for the inevitable sequel, stronger than ever.
