So, It's been on my mind, What makes a great Zelda game, and why? Even though it had sooo many good things, why did Skyward Sword only scrape out an "okay" from everyone? So, looking back to four major Zeldas, Windwaker, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and Skyward Sword, what would you take from each to create the game we've been waiting for?
Me?
OOT: The Music... I still Listen to Gerudo Valley.
MM: The Freedom... there's so much to do, and any order to do them. Want to finish the last temple first? Go right ahead, just get the tools. Don't want to do anything until you get the AWESOME bunny ears? Be my guest.
WW: The Curiosity. You can spend HOURS traveling to different islands and mapping them, discovering them. Each one had a reason to be there which meant no information was useless.
SS: The Villain. I might be the first to say it, but Ganondork is boring... really boring. He was great and all, but his character is fleshed out, done. Ghiranha... Gilligan... umm... Gelatin...
...
Graham Cracker was filled with personality and I loved every scene he was in.
So what would you take from your favorites? Let's BUILD!
